I wouldn't mind seeing more Dave artwork somewhere inside the album (lithograms, deluxe edition, lyric pages, etc.) but I agree, another Album cover a la Dave could be a bit repetitive. But if it is, at least we know it will look awesome.

I think it makes it more original. At least it isn't the band just standing around like with everyday. I do think it would be cool if they somehow got every member of the band to contribute to the album artwork in some way. As it is I think we are going to have an album artwork with a bunch of those strange looking guys contorted and twisted like they are stuck in boxes. In fact, I'd almost be willing to put money on it.

Seriously, when are they getting the finger out on the artwork? Its very strange that they would put up the pre order stuff with no artwork to begin with. I havent ordered anything yet and I wont be until I know what it is. Why would anyone buy a T-shirt, magnet etc when they have no idea what it looks like!! Is there any update on this?

Yeah, I want to see some artwork before I place an order... of course I'll get the album... but some of the other stuff I want depends on what its going to look like!

I agree 100%. It's very strange. I guess it's better than delaying the album release though.

I don't have a problem with the pre-order going up without the artwork. But all the other stuff t-shirts, magnets, litho prints? Yeah that's kind of dumb.

Aside from that, they needed to get the pre-order out there. As it stood, it was overdue.

They needed to get the album preorder up. If they didn't at least list all the other items people would have complained that the bands going lazy and not including t-shirts or magnets or lithos this time. No win situation. At least you know it's coming. And no one has to order anything today. There will be plenty of time to preorder.

I hope the album art is something totally different. Those images do remind me of the BW cover art. I ordered the shirt and lithograph and I want something unlike the BW drawing.

I don't think we're going in the right direction here. I don't think it will be a grid like Backspacer or anything. These are either people that Dave drew specifically for the website, or they're from a much bigger picture either from the coverart or other additional artwork. I like the intricacies of the BW art, you can look at it for a while and keep seeing new things. If this is a simple as 9 or so guys squeezed into boxes, I'll be a little bummed.

The aspect ratio doesn't look like its meant to be an albums aspect ratio, I'm sure it's just a place holder. I Like that it is similar to the big whiskey art in style but it won't be close in mood or content. Big whiskey was what looked like a celebration and by the name of this album (away from the world), the mood and tone of the songs we have heard, and the drawings of the people on the website I predict a very solemn, darker mood for this cover art. I'm excited

Two were there wednesday then they took them down and put two new ones up thursday and they are up still as of now.
