It's absolutely a good thing. He's also hitting the ball a lot longer than he used to, so he's gotta get used to the distances as well. Taking away how he's doing in relation to the other players, he's playing quite well. Sure, he's struggling to score, but that's going to be the hardest part of coming back off a long layoff. His swing is good, his knee looks healthy, and once everything clicks again he'll be back to being Tiger. 68,71,72 after having not played for 3 months on this golf course is pretty good.
My brother is interning down at Greg Norman Design this summer, and while having lunch with Greg they started talking about Tiger. Greg said Tiger has called his old caddie about coming on full time with Tiger. Should be interesting to see if anything comes of that.
