I was going to stay with some friends who go to college in Roch, then come back Thursday morning (11 am first class, prolly don't need to be until 1), but my friend has a "mandatory" 8 am lab. But that is our dead week (no real assignments b/c the week before finals) so I don't really know if his lab will be in session. Either way, let's start the countdown to 12-7!!!

Generally in Syracuse, we either have frozen rain or snow in October. Last year was a mild winter (or at least beginning) in comparison to how it usually is here.

Should I, being a new member to the warehouse, request tickets or wait until they go on sale via ticketmaster? Any opinions?

Gotta say, D+F in '03 was great, a nice Saturday, no worries about classes the day of/the day after. But still, little can stop me from getting there.

St. John Fisher, Nazareth, UofR, or RIT.

seriously, you gotta know somebody that goes to one of these schools. I can think of 6 people that I know right off the top of my head. take advantage of the colleges, it's the cheapest way to go.

I have a few friends that lived in Canada and came to college here in the states because of the education. I don't know if it's any better than in Canada, but these kids thought so.

Ha, not sure of any of that, I know there is a lot in downtown (right by Blue Cross) because we had a lot of options at D+F for where to park (I think we ended up doing the Marriot). Oh, and if you have time after the show, Dinosaur's BBQ is the place to go (right near Blue Cross).

Ahhhh, I wish I could do the same, but I'm more concerned about driving back in snow Thursday morning in the pitch black for four hours.

Hotels that are within walking distance/close:
Clarion Riverside Hotel isl ike a block away, and I remember hearing that Dave ate at the Benningan's inside the hotel during the Dave and Friends tour....which was quite annoying, cause I was thinking about stopping there on a hunch that day but didn't.

Hyatt Regency is right down the road too.....

The Crowne Plaza is pretty close but probably not walking distance in December...

The Cadillac Hotel would be cheap and near by and you can get drugs and there too!

actually is it still even open? I haven't been in that area of the city in a while, I thought looked closed last time I went by
