Really? Every league I'm in, guys lock at their respective game times. So a guy playing on MNF doesn't go on waivers on Sunday afternoons.

So obviously we should have discussed this before the season (Best Commish) but we need to talk about how we’ll handle games that are PPD after games are played on Sundays. Anything PPD before games are played will be manager responsibility for swapping their players, similar to a pregame injury or something.

So for games scheduled for Monday (or Tuesday) that are PPD, which Ten/Buf seems headed for, how I’m handling in the other league I’m in is that the Commish will replace any player in the lineup with a bench player with the highest PROJECTED score, unless you tell me who you’d prefer via PM or post in here.

We also should discuss adding IR spots (or increasing the bench capacity) if this happens more frequently. Lastly, if there is just too much fuckery to manage as the season goes on, we can ultimately just refund the dues (or roll to next year).

I'll throw Josh Allen back in my lineup then with Bridgewater on my bench as my replacement option if that game ends up being postponed.

I’m not sure I fully understand the issue. is the general problem that there may be a situation where your starter is supposed to play monday/tuesday, but their game gets moved only after your bench players games have taken place, meaning they are locked on the bench?

shouldn’t it be treated similar to injury status? like you are running the risk that they aren’t able to play, and it might be a better call to bench them in favor of someone whose game is more likely to happen?

obviously this is a weird situation, so I’m just thinking out loud. I’m fine with TJ’s suggestion if that is the group consensus

Yes that is the exact scenario. So we could go hardline like that but for me personally I don’t think it’s fair. COVID isn’t necessarily an injury. If your WR gets hurt and doesn’t play, they don’t cancel the entire game so your QB and RB don’t play either. The number of players, depending on the matchups, can affect multiple people and drastically alter matchups. This should hopefully be infrequent. And like I said if this happens too much, we can agree to just call it.
