Listening to the podcast and Malina's like I wish we had more episodes that are for the characters outside the work place.....eeeeee yeah no. Maybe if it wasn't boring. Also it sounds like this was done because they were behind and needed to do two episodes at once so Sorkin wrote one and this guy wrote this one and you could do this one on a small budget.

something awesome I found on twitter. It's from the same woman who made that rap video tribute to Toby awhile back.

I'd never realized how much acting Martin Sheen does with his hands

I am almost through a re-watch. Haven't seen this since it was actually on TV. I have no memory of the Dave Matthews comment at the Santos event. And it was such a tease. Ha!

There is two Dave mentions. One in the election night one and one I think when Vinick has a cold. Santos is doing a rally and mentions Dave will be up in a few minutes.

Haven't listened to much of the podcast with them during season 5. One I'm looking forward to is The Supremes. More looking forward to the primary stuff during season 6.

There really are so. many. directions. they could take with a reboot. Sam as president, Josh as some political consultant (kinda like the original series was supposed to be, based around the politicos and not the president directly...). So many options.

And I'd watch all of them.

Talked about The Supremes on this weeks podcast. One of my favorites all time and oddly oddly pertinent this week. We've all said season 5 really isn't that good but this one is freaking phenomenal in my mind.

yeah I might've said this before, that season 5 I would say very probably has at least a couple episodes that would make it into any WW fan's top 25 or so eps of the whole series, trouble is it also has like at least triple that amount of many fans' bottom 25 of the series
and for Supremes especially they just hit a casting grand slam on both sides, between Glenn Close and William Fichtner.

So I'd once again found myself falling a good bit behind on TWWW podcast, finally got to knock out like 3 this past week. I'm up to "Full Disclosure", and they pointed out something where, it was like an anvil to the top of your head moment, that I couldn't believe this had never occurred to me before.

That when the staff starts to brainstorm on the list of Hoynes' screw ups to put together as retaliation on his releasing the book and trying to rewrite some of the history, that the biggest and most glaringly obvious one of all is what never entered my mind. The notion that the whole fucking idea of why he had to resign the Vice Presidency in the first place is because he'd committed the very tangible crime of leaking classified info. That would pretty much have made the top of the list

and I realize that Melissa Marsalla wasn't exactly the greatest new character to bring on, but damn was she bloody gorgeous

In one of the s5 episodes they say how a few of the top ranked episodes are from s5 but it also has the lowest ranked episode ever. I think it was during the podcast for access.

I can't believe I never learned about this until yesterday. That John Spencer and my very own dear mother share a birthday. December 20th. He was born just 4 years after her, she's still rocking along at 76, god bless her

I kinda want to look into hypnotism one day and see if it's possible to trick myself into thinking I've never seen it so I can "experience it fresh" and the funny thing is I didn't even see it in order to begin with. Only started watching it live with season 3, than when it went to syndication on Bravo I gradually caught up the first 2 seasons.

but I remember a few people sharing this same general sentiment when I started with Breaking Bad only about a year before it ended, and was constantly posting in that thread as I went along catching up.

that's the thing, back before the time I finally caved, it had started right after I first moved to LA, and I had one of my best friends back here in the Philly area constantly telling me how great it was. even like "Kev I know most of your tastes, trust me you will LOVE this". And I didn't have a concrete argument why I wasn't, I said yeah I'm sure that I would, guess I just had been busy and hadn't gotten around to it

after all these years later, it still might make my #1 show of all time.
