Everyday Demo Sessions and a DDTW Demo

With all the activity around Batson Sessions I figured I would go hunting in the archives for other rare-ish sessions material I may have squirreled away over the years, and came up with three unfinished tracks from Everyday (WTWE, I Did It, Everyday) and a short 17 second DDTW 'demo' clip (not sure if it is legit tho).

Based on file dates Everyday is from 2008 and DDTW is from 2003. Not sure how widely spread these are now; I'm guessing not very.

Anybody else recall these tracks getting released? Did others from Everyday or BTCS ever surface?

Wow this is cool. Do you happen to know where Cigarette Lit from the Some Devil outtakes came from?

So how is Everyday from 2008 and DDTW from 2003... those songs were studio releases years before that? Close this thread already.

well you're not exactly clear as to what you're talking about. the post sounds like you have "demo" tracks of songs that were completed several years prior to the tracks, which makes no sense. is the 2008/2003 supposed to be when the audio track you have was created? if it is, im not sure why that information is relevant to the demos themselves.

He means when they were leaked. Batson Sessions is 2018, Lillywhite is 2001, etc

Some of the Everyday demos were leaked a while back and I had them myself but not sure if i still do. I remember thinking with some of them you couldn't tell the difference between the band versions later and the studio band or whoever was playing on the demos, other than them being more refined later on. They really were just playing off the sheet music Ballard had for them.

That’s interesting, I never knew that. I knew there was minimal input from the band, but I didn’t know they had practically nothing to do with it. It makes sense though.

Yeah Carter on the Charlie Rose interview from 2001 talks about it and Boyd in The Road to Big Whiskey also says when they got to the studio all their parts were pretty much laid out for them. I should check at home to see if I still have these. I probably deleted them because I needed to make space on my hard drive....

I like the demo version of Everyday because it's basically just an outro, but it has that scat at the end of it.

    The ones I have:

    Everyday - 2:11
    I Did It - 3:42
When The World Ends - 5:34
