Agree that Bonnard is more of a hassle or a drag than it is fun and music. And it is usually 110 degreees outside

Fair enough, Ive never seen most of that as a major problem but to each his own. And of course you dont HAVE to camp, but most people who go to such events enjoy it and is part of the fun!

Never been to a fest. Really don’t think I’m missing much. Rather just spend my money to see a few of my favorite bands each year at their own shows.

Considered hang out this year just to see the chili peppers. Well we all know what happened to that.

To clarify I enjoy very small festivals where everything is easy with a family feel and you benefit small local companies, Life is Good festival for example

Looks like the live album of this show that they sold is roughly that long as well.

Sure, I wasn't trying to compare the Gorge run to Bonnaroo...thats why I asked specifically about a small festival.

Telluride is on my bucket list, I think that is only like 15,000 per day!

Whatever the fuck festival panic plays is what I want to go to. Several music fest in that little ass park they have in town with the baseball fields

I think its like 2 music fest. I know one is called Ride fest, and one is called blues and brews fest. Phish did their own little thing there in 2010 too.

Phish would be my number one act I want to see in Telluride easy. Doubt they ever play there again. Maybe Dave and Tim could play there? Who knows. It’s not really a venue. It’s just a stage

Here’s a pic of the stage. Taken in oct 2019 before the fucking Corona shit ruined everything. Ah good times.

Photo is upside down. Every damn time. I don’t know what that happens.

I can’t speak for Bonnaroo (hope I make it there someday!) but I’ve been to other BIG festivals such as Lollapalooza, Electric Forest and Faster Horses. Some of y’all’s perception of festivals I feel like is Woodstock ‘99 type shit where everyone was crammed into one field at one stage where there’s a lot of lawlessness happening in the crowd. And that’s just not how festivals are done anymore.

Where did I say anything about lawlessness? Every point I made is because I've been there, very small festivals are much better

This is just the Audio, I think most are looking for video since this bonnaroo was sold for quite some time on Dave Matthews Band’s official site. I don’t think anybody has the video

It depends on what you're looking for. Honestly bonnaroo was perfect for me when I went first. Now it would probably feel a hassle but 10 years ago it broke me into the festival world. Now I know to look for smaller festivals more suited to what I'm looking for but I would encourage younger folks to go to bonnaroo if only because it offers samples of many different festivals.

Really just gotta appreciate that broo has Thursday and Saturday night available for watch but not friday. It’s like wtf... Why isn’t Saturday up? Well, it’s says warner music has blocked it. But bonnaroo I assume owns the content? And how would they be able to show it Friday night but not past that? Surely the other nights have musicians associated with WMG.. however you see in the summary that wmg did provide permission.

    SBD release dubb
A couple spots are off, most obvious is the start of Stay or Leave we're Dave says Rays name. If that is lined up the rest of the song is off, so I set the rest of the song right instead.
As the show goes on more is cut from the video vs the audio. One songs overlaps like 30 secs
No time or patients to fill in small gaps/cut 100%

I downloaded the Traders Den video. Think it looks pretty rad (though, good god, that editing is insane - you guys were right) and sounds even better!

Also - I completely forgot about the outro they add to Dodo live.

Well this link is void now. It’s just ridiculous that the original YT video was taken down. Hey bonnaroo and DMB, 2000 and 2001 called, they want their music listening rights back. Like, here you have a group of people who for one reason or another could not watch the stream last Friday night. They just want to watch it. Let’s Simplify it.... All we want to do is see a band’s performance at a music festival. The other two nights were left up. But not the uber popular Dave Matthews Band, took them down right away! “You only get them for 90 minutes! Better be there on your couch or you are S.O.L. Like wtf... this is so silly. Man, who knows though. Maybe they will stream listener supported for us as a replacement.
