Hahaha, thank you. Haven't taken a close look at that yet.

Is there any surface noise or inner groove noise with the Target version? I have the white and I'm disappointed in the quality. I cleaned it straight out in the Okki Nokki and playing it on my Debut Carbon III with acrylic platter and Ortofon Blue. It ain't the setup, that's for sure.

Target is the best if my 3, but that's probably just by chance. They seem to all have been pressed at the same plant, which I'm 99% sure was URP (a garbage pressing plant). The compound quality is awful, they're messy with their trimming, and they far over their capacity and they have some notorious issues with non-fill distortion.

Thanks. Yeah I know of United and its rep. I just picked up the swirl at Target. Will put in for a refund or replacement of the white. We'll see how that all goes. Thanks for the info.

URP still put a small “u” in a circle, should be easy to determine it’s them looking at the deadwax.

My White is horrible. Run in and run out is like sandpaper.

Left over material spread all over it.

Not even going to attempt to spin it.

    Emailed Warehouse for a replacement.

    Will see.

I am happy with my second attempt at the Target Marble.

    Actually a very good copy.

    Plays quiet and clean.

Confirmed the (u) on my black copy. Too difficult to see the matrix info on the swirl/white as they are cut very faintly and my eyes aren't great.

Played the marble last night. It's much, much better than the white. It's pretty quiet and certainly doesn't have the inner groove static that afflicts the white. Record 2 is a little warped but it didn't seem to affect play. I'll be contacting warehouse or that 800 number above to deal with the white. Thanks to everyone.

Finally got my vinyl and plays fine. I thought I heard the transition between She and Ioy different than the cd. Seemed like the live intro started literally right after the ending of She. Did I hear this right?

My white vinyl Disc 1 is definitely warped. I can see the tonearm moving side to side and up and down wayyy more than it should and particularly notes in VITR sound off. I'm considering grabbing the Target copy

    Re: Target Exclusive Vinyl

Side to side is poor QC from the pressing house not keeping the middle hole within the allowances for avoiding pitch issues. Some side to side won't affect pitch to the human ear, but we're talking 1-2 mms here.

Up and down is warpage for sure.

Either way, it's not playable if you have pitch issues...sounds awful. I had terrible pitch issues with BWGK and AFTW and not surprisingly they were both pressed at United in Nashville. Hey, Come Tomorrow is too, there's your hamartia right there.

I finally spun this the other night for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the sound. Was it determined that this variant was pressed somewhere other than United?

At least some of these were pressed at MRP, though many still had issues with pressing defects.

Nope. I was gonna sell my extra copy of Come Tomorrow but I almost feel bad doing that to someone. Seriously one of the worst pressings I have ever heard.
