They have done great things on the Riverfront in Cincy, right around the stadiums/arena, on both the OH and KY sides of the river

Tons of new bars open...plenty of parking, easy to navigate...everything is clean and new...it's a nice area...i suggest you check it out if you haven't been down there in a while
Okay, I will be more specific... US Bank Arena is fucking shithole

The area is fine, and I agree that the bar scene is good. But the arena is a dump.

so really, there are only 13 songs that have ever been played regularly-ish (using that alot today, i know) that would really be "extreme" liberations...and there are probably 4 or 5 on THAT list that a lot of people wouldn't really care if they never heard again

I don't really know if i have a wrap up here...but my point is, most of the catalogue is in play most of the time (maybe not a specific tour, but every few years at least)

and Captain, one of their best songs (IMHO, of course) gets 2 plays in 8 years (on a non-touring year, none the less)

I was more or less thinking a 4 year window was less than regularish more like once in a great while especially when a majority of those songs are played a couple few times when they surface and then put back on the shelf.

Also, I have no particular love for Columbus. I hate OSU football, could not care less about the blue jackets and in general think the city is more of a glorified suburb than city. I am not native, I am a transplant. If I were going to be a homer, it would be for cleveland...
But in terms of a tour stop in Ohio Columbus makes more sense given its location

It's actually worse than that...if it was a Caravan or Superball situation, to me, that is an easy choice (superball/phish)

I was in Milwaukee...i saw 2/3 Reds v. brewers games that weekend.....drove RIGHT BY the caravan site on my home that sunday too

they said they weren't touring...decision and other plans were made, we stuck with the plans...bad choice

it was the beginning of the end for the Reds last year too....and I had a front row seat

That would be a 24 or 25 date tour and circle the US. I would think that would cover the regular stops and include a couple non regular cities providing minimal coverage to support a fall release.
This would be soapy (.Y.) I would be seeing 4 more shows this year.

so....i copied/pasted the url for those shows so i could link them

I'm in the middle of sending out invoices to customers for the last 2 days sales...on each one, i paste a generic "unit invoice" containing the appropriate date

well...apparently I was in the zone, because i just sent one of our customers a link to the 8.11.02 show instead of the invoice information

    woops

maybe we'll have a new fan on our hands

I'll be the diabolical villain who's masterplan was to keep you from Captain at the 2011 Dave Matthews Band Caravan. Let's run with this.

I didn't go. I was pregnant. Complications kept me close to home.
