Agreed. I don't like the timeshare in NO, and Reed will probably be hurt by Week 2. With that said, I'm not sure what round he got Brady/Ryan last year, but if Ryan was super late, maybe keep him and use the higher pick on a RB?

10 team, .5ppr, 4th pick, Buddies league. As usual, leagues like this lead to a bunch of surprises, like WRs flying off the board, and leaving me with a ridiculous amount of RBs, who I just felt had more value than the WRs around them. Hopefully I can trade them when need be to make some WR upgrades. I'm also of the belief that Elliot's suspension will either be reduced to 3-4 games, or he'll sue the league and play the year, like TB12 did.

    QB: Luck (9), Prescott (13)
    RB: Gurley (2) Elliot (3), Mixon (4), Hyde (5), Anderson (6), Martin (11), Hunt (12),
    WR: Brown (1), Diggs (7), Moncrief (10), M. Jones (15)
    TE: Eifert (8)

I don't give up the round with my keeper it's just a straight up keep.

10 Team, .5 PPR league, 9th pick... Meh results. Probably set for a middle of the pack year, but who knows.

    QB: Rodgers, Stafford
RB: Freeman, Miller, McFadden, Gillislee, J. Williams
WR: Nelson, Crabtree, Snead, T. Williams, Wallace
    TE: Reed, Doyle
    K: Tucker
    D: Patriots

12 team PPR. Liking my team, don't love my RB's but love my WR's and can always figure something out with the "backup" Backs on my roster/wavier wire.

    QB- Winston, Rivers
RB- Fournette, CJ Anderson, Riddick, Burkhead, Dion Lewis (one of those guys will emerge as the Pats guy, maybe )
WR- Jordy, Cooks, J. Landry, Zay Jones, Robby Anderson, Josh Doctson
    TE- Graham, Hooper
    K- Prater
    DEF - Panthers, Falcons

my bad, that's my full roster. Figured it went without saying since I listed 6 WR's and 5 RB's. We start only 1 QB and 1 defense. Waiver wire gets slim for those 2, especially QB.

2 QB leagues are the dumbest shit I've seen in fantasy football.

12 team .5 ppr. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex. I need to drop someone for a kicker and I can't figure out who I should drop.

    Current team:

    QB: Wilson, Big Ben
RB: Crowell, Miller, Rawls, Duke Johnson, Riddick
WR: Brown, Crabtree, Tate, Tyreek Hill, Corey Coleman
    TE: Ertz, Doyle

    Need some advice.

fuck this work league. They send an email out last week with the draft order and I was first since the guy's team I took over came in last... then someone bitched and they re-picked the order without consulting anyone and now im 8th.

Like I get it, that makes sense, but dont send out an order in the first place.

Is it for money? And did the person who bitched get an improved draft slot?

After years of trying, I finally got myself down to 1 league. I'll hate even that 1 league by week 6 but at least today I feel a little less stressed and I'm actually looking forward to football.

I think first is an overrated pick this year anyway. I like 3.

it is for money. Its the weirdest league ive ever been in, I feel like im in 1997. 4 pts for a TD pass, people actively voted against raising it to 6 and apparently I have to pay $1 for every waiver move I make, which seems totally insane to me. Probably wont be doing this next year unless I win.

Im not sure exactly who bitched but im sure someone did because the 2 new people happened to get 2 of the top 3 draft slots.

Fantasy teams stress you out that much? jfc dude, its half of the fun of sundays, dont take it so seriously.

Im in 4 leagues and $140 into them total, not that much to stress about.

I just prefer to watch football and not have to care about which tight end caught a touchdown against what defense. I'm in one big money league, $150, so when you have that with, at one time, 3 other leagues on top of it, it can get pretty annoying.

nope.. and its only a casual $30 league.

I guess some people got upset a couple years ago that someone was making too many moves or something so they started charging per move... it all goes to the winner, so it does make the pot bigger but its still moronic.

Ive been in fantasy leagues for like 15 years and never once heard of this.

Several of my leagues do cost per transaction. It helps increase the pot, and keeps some guys from just making any and every move to screw things up.

    I like it.

I dont get how making lots of moves screwed anything up. Theres a waiver order for a reason, its part of playing in a league. If you make a bunch of moves, so be it, if the guys are there after the initial waiver claims, why does it matter? Everyone is free to do the same thing.

What is the length of your waivers?

We had a guy purposely pick up and drop every available kicker, defense, legitimate backup QB, so they would not be available for someone to get on Saturday. Of course we kicked that asshole out at the end of the year, but still.

Why does an extra cost affect what moves you want to make?

I think they go til Wednesday or thursday in this one.

And well, yeah thats just being a dick. If youre doing stuff to help your own team only, then whatever.

The cost is just an annoyance. Sometimes, for example, Ill pick someone up after the claim, then realize theres someone else Id rather have that I missed, so I do a swap to make sure Ive got the guy I want.. now if that happens it costs me $2 and makes me think twice about doing it for something that might just be a marginal add with upside.

Then ive gotta track the guy down every week and give him ones.. admittedly this is probably more of an annoyance for the commish, but I just dont really see the benefit. $1 isnt gonna stop me from picking up guys, but it does effect my decisions for fringe players that I normally swap off and on weekly hoping to get lucky. And thats not to mention, if someone gets hurt or goes on IR, Ive gotta pay a dollar just to replace a useless guy in my lineup, thats stupid.

I've never played in a league with $1 transactions and wouldn't be a fan as it'd make streaming defenses pretty expensive. 4 points for a passing TD is definitely better than 6 points though.

I've pretty much only ever done 4pts per passing TD.

I understand the logic for 4 points, but it just feels inconsistent with today's nfl or the rest of the league scoring. This isnt even a PPR league, but we do have bonuses for 100 yd rushing, 100 yd receiving, 300 yd passing etc.

I just dont see how a QB sneak from the 1 should be worth more points than a TD pass from the 15 or a long 50+ yard bomb.

    That's kinda the point.

I'm well aware. Appreciate you pointing the obvious out for others though.
