Yeah, that's irritating. As soon as my kid is done with school, I'm yanking Netflix access... pay for it yourself kid!

Yea, your wife's brother's wife is your sister in law. I think it stops there though. Sister in law's brother isn't your brother in law.

I don't like it. "married to my wife's brother" is one step too far for me.

Yeah, I think this is why it irritates me - like if they asked us once in awhile if they could order something from Amazon and use our free shipping, or send a text and say 'Hey, can we use your Netflix for a couple hours so Declan (3 year old nephew) can watch Cars 2?" or something, it wouldn't bug me.

You should go in, change all the passwords and not tell your wife what they are.

I think this is technically correct but I would never refer to my wife's sister's husband as my bro-in-law. He'd just be "my sister-in-laws husband" if I were making reference to him to someone that didn't know him.

How about this one...my wife has a sister and I have a brother. Are they each other's brother- and sister-in-law?

Yes, I think so? It's my wife's brother and his wife so that makes them both 'in law' to me right?

I actually kinda like that name but I legit LOL'd at this.

They just had a 2nd child about a month and a half ago, a girl, and named her Colbie. THAT one I definitely cringed at when I was told the name. Why'd you name your kid after cheese?

I try not to wade too much into it because people are clearly and correctly very attached to their children's names

but man there are so many dumb fucking names and spellings these days

(I know that declan is a name that goes back centuries if not millenia. I used it as a joke to make a point.)

Amen...lots of dumb names out there. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to names, the wife and I have had the discussion a few times and luckily we're on the same page.

She said she wanted to name our future potential daughter "Gianna" when we first got engaged. I shut that one down real quick

Oh for sure. In fact this couple, for both kids, refused to tell anyone what name they were going to use until after the kid was born, apparently because they didn't want anyone else's opinions/feelings on the name to influence what they wanted.

That entire side of the family is all Irish so I guess they were going for Irish names but people just try to get too cute. Declan I don't mind (god, he could have been Seamus or something ) but Colbie I was just like ehhhhh....no.

Speaking of baby names I recently read somewhere that "Arya" was one of the most popular girl's names in the UK since GoT became popular. All I could think was, what if Arya turns out to be a traitor and murders her entire family by the end of the series? Would you want your sweet innocent baby girl to bear the namesake of a ruthless assassin?

Oh definitely, and I totally get that. If my wife and I had a name we loved, I wouldn't want to hear everyone and their mother's opinion on it for months leading up to the birth either.

I mean, I'm naming my future kids Soda and Seven.

I recall Anakin was one of the most popular baby names in the early 2000s.

I noticed that Declan only coming around since Breaking Bad.

One of the most egregious real life examples of ridiculous spellings is fucking Chone Figgins. I hate that guy just because of his name.

My wife's aunt dabbles in her own personal businesses off and on. For the past year or two, she was cooking and selling soups and muffins. Made a facebook page and sent it to me, so I "liked it" and it was fine. She posted a photo of some food once a week at most.

Now she's shifting gears over to selling lipstick, so the Facebook page changed entirely. Goodbye!
