Heroin use

technically, if youve done coke and drank a lot of alchohol, the gas it creates when it mixes in your stomach is heroin. but its in your stomach not your blood so its not bad. I dont know if anyone even cares, haha but i felt like tellin y'all.

Well cocaine is filtered through the liver and adding alcohol to the mix probobly isnt a good idea, may not kill every time but it does produce toxins that, if you have enough of both, you can definately die.

Oh for sure. And before I say this, please understand that I would never try to boast about drugs, by any means. I'm just telling a story here.

I don't do coke anymore, but I used to do it a lot. When I did do it, it would be an all night binge. It would never be one or two lines, it would be three people sharing an 8 ball in one night. And I would drink the whole time, because the more you drank, the easier the come down off the coke.
Believe me, I'm so glad that it's in my past, and I count my blessings that I'm still around.

Really? I'd be pretty shocked. I think Dave has changed his drug habits quite a bit in his older age, and even further in his fatherhood.

I heard this from a kid who is probably ten times smarter than you, had a coke addiction when he was a freshman in high school and hes had friends that were addicted to shit, too so he knows what hes talking about. and i made a mistake too, i didnt mean it was purely heroin, i meant to say its one of the main products when making heroin.

O no, I'm not saying he did it or I've seen him do it. I just wouldn't be suprised, him being a musican & the fact he's smoked pot. I know that doesn't automatically mean he's done anything hardcore, or that anyone who's a muscian or smokes weed automatically does crack, coke or heroin. I think it just raises the odds of it happening... and therefor I wouldn't be completly shocked.

i have no idea, i was going by what a very, very smart person who i had no reason to not believe told me. I guess I should have looked it up.

but anyway, if you have ever done coke, you know that you get nasty nasal drip. and since you're usually snorting that shit, some is going to drip down to your throat. You spit most out but some still get to your stomach.

Hey, I'm not trying to jump down your throat, but I don't think that's true. Neither coke nor alcohol has any of the same chemical make up or combinations that make up heroin. It's not going to happen in your stomach in the form of gas.
I'm just saying... I've mixed a lot of coke with a lot of alcohol with a lot of drug "educated" people, and I've never heard this before.

Coke actually does drip down into your stomach. I know this because I know it can be damaging to your stomach lining. I'm not a doctor, so how it happens is out of my realm of explination.

Just thought I'd share.

there are no concrete sources...its knowledge that i've had since being for 11+ years. It clear in the pictures and his sickly appareances in the early years and quotes of his from those early years where he drops heavy hints at it...

oi people can use heroin and not be rip-roaring fuckwits like pete doherty. it's pretty hard when you have access to everything not to ever indulge at least a little bit in something. But honestly, noone here can say whether dave or anyone has used or not unless youve SEEN him. And I think the most anyone here has seen him do is smoke cigarettes and drink (and be drunk).

although....i too know of the old school rumors. There are some super rough pictures of him during their early days while peter was still in the band. Check out that photo of them at CGBG. Yikes.

I'm in forensics so I've taken a bit of toxicology and chem- Mixing cocaine and alcohol=bad. Both are central nervious system depressants and therefore, alcohol+cocaine can shut your brain down. People don't realize it but when you pass out drinking, if you were able to keep drinking afterwards, you'd die because you'd slip in a coma and then stop breathing.

Heroine metabolizes into morphine if I remember right so it's like 2 drugs haha.

Dave very well could have done weed and alcohol and known people who did heroin but I don't think he tried heroin himself. How would I know though.

That made me laugh...mostly because it is true. Christian Music Today even reviews his albums!

I know that there are things that I did as a college student that were bad for me and that I probably wouldn't admit if asked.

Dave probably dabbled in a little of everything, like most young people. However, there is a difference between dabbling and being a heroin addict (R&R deals with addiction). If you did coke a couple of times at a party 10 years ago, that does not make you a cocaine addict.
