Amazing how i can relate to dave in The Riff. It used to just be a unique riff and some lyrics about getting old and reflection of the time left.

Recently I listen to some of his songs that I used to pass by without a 2nd thought and really "feel them"

Tonight’s opener has me thinking a random thought. This is just my opinion but “You Never Know” is the best DMB song.

Also I decided also that it’s my favorite song. Out of all songs. I think it is so good.

Never understood the hate for this song. Its got a groove, great lyrics, and a unique song writing ability no other artist would try and is exclusive to Dave

if you’ve never listened to All Along the Watchtower with Gary Clark Jr at Deer Creek in 2012 you definitely should. Such a great use of a guest and having it played midset was insane.

It has been stated in the past that it is too hard for dave to play the guitar and sing to

they have soundchecked it before and the consensus was it didn't sound good. many years ago

My guess is that he has forgotten about the song. Didn’t he recently say in an interview (regarding Break For It) that he needs to be reminded of songs? I could see DOOF being easily forgotten with how old it is, Dave saying that he never listens to their own albums, and that they never played it live before.
