im surprised more of you guys don't think lt54 will be Vegas from this year. it's the only full band releasable show from a really, err, "unique" year and has a bunch of rarities (suad, riff, stolen away, beach ball, what you are, long train runnin, tell me something good) so i think it has the best chance of release.

The poster from that show hangs in his bedroom. We listen to the tape and the tapes of his other shows often. He likes that he was there when listening to a version of a song.

Thanks! I like to think I'm doing okay. The other day he came up and asked me about Toy Soldiers and if he could hear it. He saw it while scrolling through Youtube looking at old DMB videos and since he didn't recognize it he asked me. It was so cool to talk to him about that song. I played him the Live 25 version and he liked it.

Can somebody just accept me on here? I’ve never actually been to a show although I did watch many of the drivein shows this May-September. Just know that the way I post is how the perspective is from someone who’s never actually seen the band live.

You try to come off as if you know stuff about releases that we aren't aware of. Like you have inside info. Thats why you get the reactions you get. If you truly are a new fan who hasn't seen them maybe try a different approach to your posting style.

2 years and 0 live shows for a band with a history like DMB is pretty new. You post as if you know stuff that you clearly don't and as a new fan couldn't possibly know. FWIW I've been a fan for 10 years and going to shows for six and I would still consider myself a new(er) fan. But most people won't (or at least shouldn't) care about that.

If you want to have some fun and make some predictions go right ahead, but theres a way to do that without implying that you have some super juicy inside information.

While we're on the subject of uninformed predictions just for fun, I'll throw these out there:


SPAC 7/3/15 - 7/4/15
CVille 5/7/16
Vegas 2/28/20

The first two are really just what I'm hoping for more than they are actual predictions - they're at the top of my list of shows I've been to that I'd want released. I think Vegas is most likely, and it could be a cool release with a bonus disc of material from different live streams.

I just want them to stop releasing single shows from multi-evening stops. Even if they an EncoreTrax or BonusTrax from the other night. I want both nights (or all 3 nights) released, in full. Or, at the very least, the option to buy the whole weekend. They could officially release one night, then make the other available to download, or do a WH-exclusive full-weekend release, like they did with Wrigley. I just hate that releasing a single night pretty much guarantees the other night(s) never see the light of day.... Hahahaha I'm still so bitter about Alpine '08 (LT15?) being downgraded from both nights to just one night....am I the only one?

This would get my vote. Maybe that'll be the case when they release the next multi-night set that isn't a live trax? Gorge 2002, Weekend on the Rocks, and Wrigley have all been somewhat similar in how they were released, but it's been a while since they've done something like this. The last few non-LT live releases have all been pretty clear cut standalone shows.

Agreed. What’s changed since 2006-07 when they did so previously (Boston and Las Vegas in 2006-07 had both nights of their runs released & that’s that. Alpine 2015 is another example of them doing just one full night and it was really a dumb idea to do just one night. Also Citi field 2010 - night 1 was only released in a bonus disc. What’s gone on in the last ten or so years to cause this?

Only reason I think is DMB posted a random pic on facebook today regarding that show. I'm sure it's just random but maybe it's foreshadowing the release.
