Re: 2020 Poster Discussion

Jellyfish kinda reminds of Tsang, if he would just focus on one item and not throw every single other thing that has ever come into his mind into the print with it.

Poster is out for tonight's Drive In. Legit the exact same as the planned LS poster just edited with the correct show and date.

Did anyone order the Listener Supported poster? I wonder if those orders were cancelled or if there are now two versions of this poster.

Has anyone received a drive-in poster? I pre-ordered the Des Moines Flames and haven't seen or heard anything.

I bought the very first poster in this series (the Deer Creek N2, I think) and it arrived around June 10th, about a month after I ordered it. I think all the posters in this series are pre-orders with about a month between when the show airs and the poster ships.

FYI The order page says orders will ship 1+ month out.

    Not an instant ship.

When the poster for the Hartford Drive-In was sold and ordered by us, the info on the page said it would ship by or around June 2. The poster has printed and has been sold (including a sold out foil edition) by the artist for a coupla weeks now. I know I read fine as did plenty of others. The initial listings all stated a time frame and they are missing them by quite a bit, w/o providing useful details to customers. We've ordered quite a few new items from other artists since this all started and have received everything else within two or three weeks WITH updates on any delays...from smaller bands and their online stores/facilitators.

Thanks. I knew the estimated ship date for the DSM Flames was 6/19 (I can read... smh lol) but was wondering how accurate that actually was.

Orders were cancelled and since they weren't printed yet they were able to change the date.

Spent a small portion of the deciding whether or not to get the Flames or Kelly Drive-In poster...

We've got three Flames (just got the Ireland 2017 D&T and C-Ville 2018 last week), so we decided to spread the love and bought our first Kelly. Still trying to find a 2016 Bristow Kelly...

I ordered the first poster of the drive in series and it’s schedule to be delivered today (7/4) from DHL. I emailed the store and asked why it’s taking so long since it was scheduled to ship the first part of June and they chalked it up to COVID. I just ordered the Charlotte one this week and not expecting it before September.

Flames just sold his run of the Drive In posters, and I bet everyone gets them by next week at the latest.

I've not heard anything since my last email to them...they're clearly no longer dealing with me, but the orders I placed are all still "Open order(s) in progress". They seemingly over promised and/or aren't on top of things. Again, their lack of effort to redeem their missteps is lame, BUT as has been stated these are not traditionally reliable and perfect entities.

I can't believe I placed another order with them for the Charlotte poster...some people never learn.

So true! If you expect nothing then something is a reward. That’s the mantra I live by when it comes to WH.

Sadly it's far bigger than the WH, it's musictoday as a facilitator/shipper (if not as part of actual supply chain, e.g.: working with the factories that produce the merch).

Quite true that a pessimist is rarely (if ever) disappointed...

I actually had tickets to this show and was planning on driving from Austin. A week before, on my 22nd birthday, we went out to 6th Street and I lost my keys, so I had to leave my car downtown, which caused it to be towed. I had to spend my whole trip budget to get it out.

Turns out the keys had fallen through a hole in my pocket into the lining of my shorts, so I had them the whole time.

I also had this happen to me, albeit without such consequences.
