Re: ***Official Tinley Park, IL Thread 2019***

Anyone ever done VIP or Box Seats at this venue? If so, any thoughts/info would be much appreciated.

I did one of the skyboxes for a show last summer - last minute buy on StubHub for $14. It was pretty cool. There is a dedicated bar and restrooms up there so you don't have to be walking or taking the elevator up and down. There's an interior room and then a few rows of seats outside overlooking the stage.

There's a small bar/serving area inside the individual box. The show I was at was very lightly attended and it was just us and 2 other people there, so it wasn't in use at all, but possibly for shows where the box is full they have a dedicated bartender in the suite?

It was decent. I'd say somewhat better than being in the back/sides of the pavilion. You're kind of directly in front of some of the hanging speaker columns so that helps.

I checked and we were in Suite 325, which is left side if you are facing the stage. One thing to note is the bathrooms are ALL the way over on the right side, so it was a bit of a walk to get down there. If you went for a box on the right side, quicker in and out if you're leaving during the show to pee.

There's also the VIP boxes on the main seating level. They're mostly just folding chairs inside a little fenced off area - similar to what they have at Deer Creek if you've ever been there, but a little bigger. They're mostly located behind the 100 level seating and in front of the 200 level.

Definitely feel you on that, though it's been a lot of well-placed industry sources that have hinted that they be doing a handful of stadium dates (Yankee Stadium, Fenway, Wrigley) with the original 4 guys (Michael Anthony returning on bass) possibly as a double bill. The Foo Fighters name was tossed around a bit.

NOTHING at all concrete. Anthony has been asked multiple times and denies even hearing from the VH camp. Plus, Sammy Hagar & The Circle (in which he plays bass) is releasing their first original studio album in May and just announced a pretty extensive tour April-June to support it, so how would that factor in?

It started when DL Roth was doing some radio interview to promote some skincare line he's hawking or something, and threw in an offhand comment about how you'd see him back with his 'main thing' this summer 'where the Yankees play.'

100% color me skeptical on all of this, but it's the hot rumor right now.

Heading up here with a buddy and got pit. What's the size of the pit like compared to Alpine or Creek? I think all the shows I've done here DMB or non were seated.

We have a box on the floor just like it was mentioned above in the bold. These seats are $250.00 each and honestly for what it comes w/ and the location I think you can get better seats closer for the money. If you like the "privacy" factor, padded seats, and server (who will probably come around 1-2 times and take forever to bring you stuff) it's worth it. But to me, it's not. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Looking at the map, the pit looks pretty small compared to other places. Alpine is a gigantic pit

Yeah, the map makes it look pretty narrow with those sections of seats still there.

Pit is roughly 20 rows deep. It will be interesting to see where premium and 12/98 seats get placed.

Seniority really isnít a factor anymore, so 12/98 seats could be anywhere.

True, but wouldnít be surprised if some first year members got the $85 tickets.

I was curious how the selection was. Luckily have WH pit so I was focusing on Alpine.

I was able to snag a pair about 10 rows back off the center aisle in 105 at about 11:45ish. It was a pain in the ass as I kept getting the "sorry another fan beat you" message but I was eventually able to check out with them. I was worried they'd be too far to to the side, but it looks like these will actually have a decent view.

Alpine Pit is the whole 100 section seats. In my opinion, that is just too big of a pit. It ruins the pit experience with that many people in it.
