I love ABI, but I think it's one of a small handful of songs that was better with Butch than Tim. And I love me some TR.

I think it's a great song. Great build and climax. Loved seeing it at Randall's

Studio wise, I will disagree. If I ever want to listen to something with machine gun sounds I might go for it, but I'll (more than) likely just play Metallica - One

Live, it's pretty much 1a, 1b, 1c with Hunger, Smooth Rider, and Stand Up as worst song. I mainly feel that way because of the length and shear boredom of the song. I didn't find EWU horrible when I saw it. I'd prefer it over other stuff on the album like OoMH, Stolen Away, or Steady actually (I know that's not really any kind of praise, but whatever).

I can understand why people might like it live. It just does nothing for me.

ABI...isn't terrible. I do like the intense build. Be nice if it always segues into an even more intense song... Like Last Stop or DDTW, etc

Abi was the one song on Stand Up that made think "this song could be really cool" when I first heard it. Then it was over a minute later.

    I enjoy this song.

I have a theory that with Dave having a vocal coach on tour that it's chances of being played are even smaller now. No way that song is healthy to sing on a regular basis.
