I'm watching Vinyl. I kind of like it but I think it's a disjointed mess. The last episode was probably the most entertaining, but if you didn't see that "twist" coming within the first 2 minutes of the episode, then you haven't watched TV or movies before. I just think they are putting too much on Ritchie for any of his storyline to be actually believable or relatable at this point
I've been most interested so far with the backroom dealings, the backstage type stuff with Zep, Hannibal, Cooper, Bowie, etc. It doesn't even need to be real musicians, they can be made up. Can we please have a little bit of focus on the music industry? I feel like they took every one of Tony Soprano's demons that we discovered over the years, and crammed them all into Ritchie's background within the first few eps of Vinyl.
