Thought I would chime in as my calendar is starting to fill up...
    5/22 - Fleet Foxes (Nashville)
    5/26 - U2 (Nashville)
    6/2 - Jerry Seinfeld (Nashville)
    6/20 - Paul Simon (Nashville)
    7/6 & 7/7 - DMB (Deer Creek)
    7/20 - Punch Brothers
    10/12 - Childish Gambino

I'll probably try to catch some more shows this year, but this is it for right now.

Saw G. Love play a solo acoustic show with Kristy Lee a couple of nights ago. Incredible show. Got to hang with them after the show and both are awesome people.

Really hoping Nine Inch Nails doesn't sell out in the presale Saturday morning. Would love to see them in the theater they're hitting in Memphis. If they do I may go for scalper tickets because I want in that bad.

Saw Fleet Foxes at The Ryman Auditorium last night (second time seeing them). They were flawless and I’ll be flabbergasted if I see a better show this year.

I envy some of your concert lists but how do some of you A.) have time for so many shows, some night after night, and B.) afford to attend so much?

If I had more B, I would certainly do what I could to make A as often as possible. There are so few things that I enjoy more than a concert.

    A) Lack of sleep mostly. I can get by on 5-6 hours for a day or two so that makes it easier. Also, I just make it a priority. If I want to go to a show I make it happen. There's other things that could get my attention but I'd rather be at a show. Plus, my wife is understanding and we don't have kids.

    B) Budgeting. I make a modest salary but have figured out how to plan out my ticket purchases. Just figure out which ones are gonna sell out at release and which I can get later. Plus it's nice having a CC so I can let it sit for a month or two if I need to.

Saw Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness (Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin) last night. Was an all acoustic show. It was a lot of fun. I feel like the venue they were playing in wasn't fitting for an acoustic show but oh well; it was just weird standing for 2 hours for really chill music. I saw Regina Spektor's acoustic show last year and that was all sit down and it was phenomenal.

I do love when Andrew does these "storyteller" shows and I thought this one was a lot of fun..the whole Mister Rogers setup. The only gripe with this show and the setup was you had to stand in the center to see everything.

Caught Modest Mouse a few weeks ago at red rocks.

Got Panic at red rocks and the Halloween run in Vegas planned. Was their three nights at the MGM in Maryland in May. I love casino shows.

Have DMB too in the summer.

And Childish Gambino with my son in October.

Saw the Reverend earlier this year.

Oh Dead and Co in Boulder too.

Going to see him in a few weeks so let me know how it is. I saw him two years ago at a festival and it was fun but I'd like a real show instead of a festival set.

Went to Taylor Swift at the last minute tonight. Pretty fun. Quite a show.

Really, really good. He had a huge backing band for most of the show and then played a couple of songs by himself. Was shocked he played American Tune. And he played it solo acoustic. It's one of my favorite songs and by far my favorite Paul Simon song. Dallas crowd also didnt act a fool (which is not par for the course). Show far exceeded my expectation. Recommend it to all who were on the fence about seeing him.
