In a society that is hyper specialized you really don't think there needs to be oversight between two parties with vastly different knowledge of how a system works and that the market will just figure it out without screwing people over in the process? I'm assuming you read carefully through all user agreements and set up arbitration if you don't agree with 100% of the terms before signing literally anything these days. Because I wouldn't want you to benefit from government oversight in your personal life and then claim that government oversight is bad.

It's like that time I argued with gocubs about regulations. Like, sure, we COULD just let the market weed out construction companies that don't give a shit about safety, but how many buildings will collapse and how many people will die before before that happens?
