I don't even sit in the pit, I prefer the premium reserved seating locations. But a $30 hike? That's just nuts.

You don't have to go if you think it's too expensive.

People are paying way more than $115 for these tickets on 3rd party sites, wouldn’t you rather the band actually see that money instead of some shady resale company?

I mean I have paid 100+ for nose bleeds to certain concerts.....so 115 for up front seating/pit really isn't that crazy. Sure it sucks but what can you do?

I wouldn't complain if they let you opt out of the 85$ level. It would be worth it not get stuck with crappy uppers.

That's not a reason to raise the prices on the fans who dole out extra cash just for the opportunity to buy the tickets in the first place. Like many others I'm sure, I pay them $35 each year just so that I can get decent seats to the ONE show I go to each tour for a taste of summer nostalgia. Are they really struggling so much that they need another $30 from me? The cost after fees is already high enough.

It's a ridiculous and insulting slap in the face to fans who pour a lot more money than I do each year to see this band multiple times.

yeah there is a reason. they decline hundreds of requests every show. there clearly are more people willing to pay more.

Honestly if the price increase raises my chances even 1% of getting good seats to a show I request, then I love it

It's not a "slap in the face."

This hasn't been true for many years. Their attendance numbers have been down for awhile. They aren't declining "hundreds of requests" for weekday shows in small markets

They haven't been selling uppers well for years; this will push more people into those seats. They'll have no problem selling all the lowers/pit at this price point.

Fucking sucks, but it is what it is, I guess.

No thanks. I'm cool with being pissed off about a very clear slap-in-the-face from one of my favorite bands. Will I still go to the show? Yep. Will I probably enjoy it just as much in my $85 seats? Yep. Will I be pissed off that I'd have to pay $30 more to sit a little bit closer? Absolutely. Thanks for your concern, though!

my boyfriend is constantly asking to go to shows like Bruno Mars , Adele, Demi Lovato, etc. Seats are consistently FAR more expensive. It sucks the pricing went up but it is still a lot less than many other acts.

Can someone list the different prices for pit/seats/lawn? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Apparently it's varying by venue a bit (LA is more, smaller markets are less), but for the ones I'm going to (Texas) it's:

    $115 lowers/pit
    $85 uppers
    $49.50 lawn

Ok cool. Did you find that on the ticketmaster site or venue site? Ticketmaster doesn't have any info for ATL yet.

Wow, you paid $20 for the pavilion in 1996? I guess Ticketmaster was ripping me off back then too!

I love that this is being comprehended by folks as, "We should pay LESS than what we've been paying!" Maybe I should have typed my opinion slower.
