The rail part skeezes me out pretty hard honestly. That means one of two things happened. Either:

    A) the parents pushed their way to the front with an infant in tow (dangerous) or

    B) the parent forced the infant to wait in line all day to get that close (I can't imagine this is what happened)

    Just unfathomable stupidity.

This is crazy. I grew up with a musician parent, but I could never imagine this. I'm annoyed that the band isn't more annoyed.

Great scene from a great (but underrated) movie. A bar is better than the Pit at a DMB show, though.

Not trying to judge, but if you have someone to watch him, and she is taking him back if he is fussy during the show or taking him back after 1 night at the longest, what is the point in bringing him?

Ive never been to the gorge, but I imagine the campground wont exactly be quiet or a good place for a baby to sleep

It's cool, we want to take him to the Gorge and over the hill. Concerts (particularly DMB Gorge) are just our thing and we want to share it with him (even though we know he won't remember it obviously, it's important to us). I've seen a number of babies in the lawn there over the years actually. Our friend brought their 7 month old last year for the entire time and he was fine. Wildhorse has kids staying their quite often, and has quite hours at night.

Terrible parenting. They are either extremely dumb, or don't value their baby's safety. I don't think children that young should even be allowed in.

My friend & I saw a guy & his 7 year old at Camden N2 & we thought it was pretty crazy, lol, little did we know that someone would bring their literal infant . I feel like in general there's just been more kids around at shows lately (not that young & not in the pit though)

That baby is going to hate DMB, live concerts, and probably music in general. But he'll have a signed cymbal from some guy named Crater.

Big difference between 7 month old and 7 year old.
7 month old, can't walk, can't talk, not crap its pants, and can't move away from danger.
I have no problem with 7 year olds in the lawn or seats.

I have a 6 yo. I'd consider bringing him and hanging out in the back of the lawn but there's a 50/50 chance that Dave will repeat Sexy Motherfucker over and over for 3 minutes so until that stops happening or until my kid has enough impulse control that I can guarantee "don't repeat what you hear" will actually happen, he can't go.

Also, I'm assuming you mean 2018?

Not sure if you have children or not but it's not "stupid" so long as you're not going to a bar at like 11pm at night and it's elbow to elbow. Going to a brewery or beer bar is fine. Going to a dive bar or night club is probably not the right thing to do. As a parent you can't spend your entire week at your house and you need to get out and socialize. Heck, a lot of breweries are family friendly. Shit, in Colorado it's expected to bring your baby with you to a bar.

Agreed. This is the a good take on kids (and dogs) in breweries from a local brewery around here: http://www.fullsteam.ag/brewery-tavern/all-welcome/

yea most bars are restaurants during the day, there is always kids with families eating lunch/dinner. Tourist just see a spot with food and go to eat regardless of what is going to take place there 6 hours later

Completely irresponsible and selfish! Way too much stimulation for a developing brain. Not to mention, I'm sure the sight of that baby (and the concern it would raise) lessened the enjoyment of the show for a few people.
