Re: 2018 Price Increases

Surprised to see Dead & Co tickets priced cheaper than DMB. Pre-sale tickets at Alpine for Dead & Co are $95 (all inclusive) for (center) section 202 - and there is not a bad seat in the entire section. $75 for sections 201 and 203, $45 for lawn. But they are selling premium lowers for $300+. This follows an earlier post about charging for tickets according to their location. Some will pay $300 to be in the first few rows of reserves.

It's clear that Boyd was so furious by the slap-in-the-face price increases he simply couldn't bear to be associated with such a move. It all makes sense now.

Ticketmaster has labeled certain seats as Platinum and they are charging prices to match that nametag. Your mileage varies by venue. I've seen people post that they've had seats pop up for 1K. Somewhere in the $200-800 range seems to be the norm though. You can filter out the Platinum seats on the search filter but then you seem to get lawn or reserves with an issue like an obstructed view.

Haven't been to a show in a years. Cancelled my Warehouse membership because not many good seats came from that. They are basically pricing themselves out for me. And now with no Boyd? Forget it. Only person I'd spend more money on would be Tom Waits.

Anyone else not get an email from Ticketmaster yet about getting the album with your ticket? Got Austin tickets last week when they went on sale but still haven’t seen anything.

I got it for the tickets I bought during the Citi presale, but not for the ones I bought on the public sale.

I got a confirmation email from Ticketmaster saying the download codes would be emailed to me once the bundle was available for release. I bought my tickets through the Citi pre-sale. No data for the public sale.

    Re: 2018 Price Increases

So a general question: how have the 'Platinum' seats been selling so far, at the venues that you've been checking LN/TM regularly for?

I've seen one price drop for section 100 Row 8 at Darien (first row of reserved, dead center); they were $895 for a couple weeks after the public on-sale but they dropped the price to $595 each. No one's biting.

It also seems that LN now presents the "Verified Resale" tickets when you go to search, as well. Someone's asking $1200 for a single in the aforementioned Section 100 Row 8
