Same. My short game would be that much better if I knew how to stop the ball on the green, or even just lessen the amount of roll it gets.

depending on the length of chip/pitch, i use my putter grip sometimes and believe it or not, that takes a lot of roll off the shot. got that tip from the striped one

Chipping was the most improved part of my game last year, mainly because I used the chipping tips in Woods' How I Play Golf I'm still not great at chipping, but I'm a lot more consistent. Now if I could just drain all of those nasty 5-8 footers

Biggest difference in my game over the past year or two. I started putting much better (developed a routine, started picking a spot to hit it to, practiced a lot) and obviously it really started lowering my scores.

I've got this giant Odyssey putter that has completely changed my game. I'm not sure if it is confidence or if it is the club itself, but I never mishit a putt with it. I'll still misread one every now and then, but I would bet 90% of my long putts end up within 30" of the cup and I make more 5 to 10 foot putts than I ever did. I've tried going back to a more traditional putter and it turns into a shit show.

Is it the 2-ball SRT? That's what I use, and I'm the same way, I don't ever mishit putts anymore.
