Re: **The iPod Thread**

question: how do you get a live show to play continuously without having to break the show up into d1, d2, d3 etc?

tag the files as if it was all one disc. make the album the date of the show, and each song a track, no matter how high it goes.

type in videora iPod converter on google and hit the first link (i would post the link but I am at school and for some reason they blocked the site). Download that and once you open it, click convert, then transcode new video. Once it is done, the finished video will be in the Videora folder in Program Files. Then import that video to iTunes and it should work

A few posts ago someone mentioned that they were concerned about the Nano scratching (which applies to the video iPod also). I purchased a product called the Invisible Shield (www.theinvisibleshield.com). It consists of 2 perfectly cut pieces of clear film that entirely wraps the Nano or iPod with a protective layer. You apply it with soapy water the same way you apply window tinting. I installed it as soon as I bought my video iPod and I will never have to worry about scratches.

My hard drive recently crashed, I had to re-install iTunes, when I brought it back up it had all my songs in the library, but I wasn't able to play any of them. Has anyone heard of this before.

Also every song I purchase, skips automatically on my ipod, it goes through each song without playing them. Can anyone help?

This post is a bit old but for any os x video encoding use ffmpegX.

    http://homepage.mac.com/major4/index.html

And here is a tutorial that tells you how to use ffmpegX to convert anything to the iPod's format.

I don't know why more people don't get a really good mp3/cd player. They hold 700 mbs, the batterys last for like 50 hours and the memory is dirt cheap. Its about a third bigger than an IPOD but its way cheaper. And they don't scratch when you touch em. My RioVolt SP250 sounds way better than my second gen 10 gig Ipod, which can only hold a half hour charge on a good day.

You just have to deelte them off your ipod and put them back on through iTunes. That will solve the problem. If not, you should email Apple here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/...ore/ipod/#form
