Ugh, we’ll have to see the words “Sugar Man” on our computer screens like, twice a week now. This band is doomed!

I don't mind Everyday at all in the original version but Buddy completely ruins the current version for me, DMB doesn't need to channel Richard Simmons.

So there were 0 repeats between Toronto 2019 and Toronto 2022 setlists. Each show had completely different songs which is a wild stat for a one night midweek venue.

What Rodriguez is to him as Dylan and Stevens are to others. He looks up to him as a songwriter is what I meant to say if I didn’t correctly.

I have a really bad feeling as to why Jimi has been put on the shelf lately. I almost don't even want to say it because I don't want to speak it into existence.

They're saving a new cover for SPAC/Deer Creek/Alpine....you can say it, it's okay. You're probably right. My guess is You Can Call Me Al.

I’d be ok with that. Honestly, I think it’s just as likely that Carter said they could work out how to do Two Step in place of Jimi. Maybe they got tired of playing it.

I love how random this is haha.

That being said, I love Buddy on ED. Probably my favorite thing they have him do.

I was so bummed when they added this to the D&F tour...we weren't in any position to see additional shows. We only got to see the opener, with my only real annoyance being that every show got from three to eight more tunes...up to 53 minutes MORE music.

Still glad just to have gotten to see that tour. I wasn't sure at the time how much longer the band was going to last. I had ZERO clue about issues the band was having and assumed D&F would continue, like the Dead and JGB. But as Dave is far more prolific songwriter, I was hoping we'd get new music from him via either outlet on a far more regular basis.

By far my least and it isn't remotely close now that he plays piano on LIOG

That was amazing. This song has grown a lot on me. It’s extremely good live. It highlights the current band’s strengths extremely well. Would cool if they can figure out an outro

How some people here think this song sucks is beyond me. It sounds like it could be right off BTCS.

I've said this for a long time, but DMB could truly deliver the next UTTAD/Crash/BTCS/Busted Stuff and this site would probably hate it cuz they are typically averse to new stuff from the jump

Its either met with fists up from the start. Then it goes away forever and suddenly "That was a good one, what happened?" And if it somehow comes back and goes to regular rotation instead of one and done it loses its luster and isn't cool anymore cuz other people got to see it.

Or extreme love then high play count then hatred cuz its apparently taking up a spot where DMB was apparently going to play People People for some reason.

    yupppp. See: LITHOG and Squirm

I don’t think MME sucks. The chorus is super cool and the music is great throughout. But Dave’s vocals and vocal melody in the verses are pretty bad to my ears.

Yep. But try telling that the revisionist history here on this site

Big Whiskey was also pretty well liked too around 2009-2010. But now its "ACTUALLY, I didn't/never liked it then..."

Honest question, who were the people that hated BTCS when it was released?

My wife and I listened to it front to back endlessly and loved it from the first spin.

On a related note, I watched part of the Crush video for the 1st time a couple days ago. We had stopped watching MTV for a few years already, so I haven't seen many videos that were released after the early to mid '90s.
