I haven't seen Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, or Grindhouse, though I've been meaning to see Pulp for years now.

    Reservoir Dogs

Four Rooms. Tarantino's scene was by far the best, but being a 15 minute scene, its hard to rank it against his other films. I loved the concept of this movie, but I thought it more or less sucked, except the 4th scene.

I liked the 3rd scene by Rodriguez - that one was funny as hell. The first two scenes were boring.

I think it's really close. Pulp is one of the most influential films of all time. But at the same time, it had some scenes in it that really did nothing to advance the story (the pot belly scene, the taxi ride). I think overall Dogs had a better flow to it.

They are both his best works, methinks. And the margin between them is very close.

Wow, not a lot of love for Jackie Brown

    I'd go:

True Romance (only written by Quentin, but come on it's awesome)
    Jackie Brown
    Reservoir Dogs
    Pulp Fiction
    Kill Bill Vol 2
    Kill Bill Vol 1
    Basterds

    Still haven't seen Four Rooms.

Tarantino is on my list of all-time favorite writers/directors. Say what you want, but you can't deny the man is fantastic at "fucking with the audience." His stories never play out exactly the way you'd think they would, and there are always these twists and turns that you don't see coming.

I would go see that movie just based on names alone. Tarantino, Pitt, DiCaprio and not to mention Robbie. But the movie itself looks great.

If we did an updated poll on this, I would change my answer to Django. I originally answered Dogs, but wasn’t nearly as warm to it the last time I watched it. I loved Django both times I have seen it.

Guy playing Bruce Lee looks awesome, especially the nuances in his vocal delivery.

I watched the trailer a couple times and listened closely, still couldn't make it out.

Also, best Tarantino movie? Pulp Fiction. Kill Bill Vol. 1 has a very special place in my heart, though.

Someone in the comments mentioned that the guy playing "Bruce Lee" is Christoph Waltz in an amusing cameo. *Edit, just noticed Luke Perry is in this.

    oh my god, of course

I cannot believe now what I initially thought he said. I first thought (and played it back like 5 times) he said "great fucking note!" as in like how a director will give a last minute note to their actor right before a take. Of course then the inherent joke here (seeming to be, anyway) why it would be like I'm guessing about a 10 year old girl "delivering" the note. But I figured okay I suppose that'll be clearer in the movie.

but now that I go into it with "Rick fucking Dalton" in my head (and I'd not paid attention so far what his character's name was supposed to be, not even apparently the very start of the trailer), it's totally clear to me.
