Grew up with plastic handle pots and pans. Burned myself more than a few times when I bought my first cast iron just from absentmindedly grabbing at the handle for a quick adjustment.

Got a few annoyances as always, but in the interest of brevity, I'll keep it brief.

-Obligatory commercial holidays, like father's day. Fuck off.
-School Buses. We used to get nearly thrown off the bus back in the day. Now, each stop is a 3-5 minute fanfare complete with fireworks, a mariachi band, a fashion show, and photogs. And you wonder why people are blowing past stopped buses and running over little kids. It wasn't my choice to have crotch goblins. How about do what we used to do...before each stop, whoever is getting off moves forward to a free seat as close to the front as possible and exits the bus in 30 seconds or less. Surely this can't be unrealistic?
-Fake robocalls using someone else's number threatening my arrest and telling me to purchase MoneyGram/WU/GreenDot/CashApp and pay them. If you are this fucking stupid, you deserve nothing less than to lose your life savings. A fool and his money are soon parted.
-So one of my acquaintances happened to get a job where I work. We're Facebook friends through a mutual friend. In come the friend requests from people that work here. I accepted none. And now I have to deal with explaining it simply as, "I'd rather keep my personal and work life completely separate, thanks." I have NEVER accepted friend requests from co-workers until I have either moved on or it's a certainty. Surely I can't be the only one that does this? Because people are making it seem that way.

I am very much the bold. I have colleagues I go to lunch with three times a week. Have even been to sporting events with them, bars etc. But until I stop working here, I'm not doing any social media connections, or worse, Steam/Origin invites etc.

Ok, now I have a rant. My brothers sort of GF texts me constantly and I never respond. She'll literally send me pics of her dogs and cats, but I haven't said a word for the past 20 texts (I've realized she's crazy so I don't respond anymore).

She suddenly adds me on Steam (gaming platform) and texts and announces she's now on Steam. Steam is a place I go to get away from it all. The last thing I need is some crazy broad sending me Steam messages when I'm trying to hide from the world and people I don't want to talk to. How do people not take the hint?

Work installed two electric vehicle charging stations in my parking lot two weeks ago, so I had to find parking last minute. Ended up parking about a half mile away. Did I know about it? No, not at all, because apparently I’m not on the building wide email list.

Today they’re finally hooking them up to the power grid, so my building doesn’t have power from 7a-11a. They still had us come in though, because the battery backups would work and it was only affecting power, not internet or phones.

Well, the batteries DID work when I got in at 9, except all of them were beeping indicating they weren’t charging. No fucking shit. And then mine died, because they started work early, and I lost both of my monitors. Ok, fine, I’ll just undock and deal with the laptop standalone. Except WiFi isn’t working, only a wired connection. So I have to keep it on the dock, but my dock isn’t recognizing the monitors are off so now I can’t see my start menu.

And then wired connections went down, too, so now I’m at McD’s using their free WiFi.

We were not given the option to work from home today.
