The Heavy. The House That Dirt Built is one of the few albums that'll take me away from listening to DMB for a few spins. Great funk/rock. They do the car commercial "How you like me now?" Good shit.

I don't like rap much at all. There are VERY FEW rappers that I can stomach (mainly Lupe, Jay Z at times, and some Biggie, 2 Pac and Eminem), but because of recommendations and the fact that The Black Keys do all the beats and background music...

    First Listen:
    Blakroc - Blakroc

Runaway is such a great song. That one and Bloodbuzz are the stand-out tracks for me.

I have enough money on itunes to buy one album. I want to get a Tallest Man on Earth album. Obviously everyone has been raving about The Wild Hunt. The few songs i have heard are from Shallow Grave and i really like them. Which album would you all recommend going with?

After heavy listen to The Wild Hunt, it is indeed the better album. His writing has come a good way since Shallow Grave. Both are great.

buy a few tracks from each - pistol dreams, the gardener, title track from the first and burden of tomorrow and basically anything else from wild hunt...mix it up a little

Personally I think Shallow Grave is the superior album by a hair. Either way, you're going to get a good album. I will say "The Gardener" is his best song though.
