Thoughts on white vs. colored lights (n/r)? I prefer white, but the Beefy children really want colored lights next year.

Also, I've seen a few houses this year with lights projected onto them. Not really a fan.

I prefer the white too.

I did buy one of those projection things this year. Ended up hanging it from a gutter down onto our basketball slab in the backyard. Its like a disco back there now.

i dig the old school, colored bulbs. don't have a house to decorate, but we decorated the inside of our apartment. will take pics later.

All white, all the time. So classy.

I don't knock anyone for colorful lights though, as long as it's done with some level of coordination. 70%+ of the homes in my area have color lights, but they're clearly from different sets/manufacturers and are different shades of colors. They all look terribad.

And those fucking projection things?
My fucking God they're awful.

I like pretty much all kinds of xmas lights except the 'icicles'.

I do agree that no matter what colors you use, you need to stick with the same brand in whatever area you are using them. Too many different makes of lights will look crappy when used together. Neighbor across the street has the soft white lights mixed with the LED white and it looks terrible.

Yo it's time to get all that shit down from the attack tomorrow. Not because we are going to put it up this early lol. But because we will be gone for thanksgiving and it will be ready to put up when my family gets back.
