You may want to contact the venue...actually calling them might give you a straight answer

I know a few years ago I had a friend that had a sprained ankle and they got golf carted from the campground to the venue and got to sit in the handicapped area.

    Any info would be appreciated.
I don't have an answer for you, but congrats on the baby!!

There is an "ADA" bus and you can at least ride it to the venue each day and back.....and they drop you off right at the main stage......a bit easier than the mile + walk. You can camp in the ADA section as well which has larger easier to use porta potties and access to the ADA showers in premier, is a bit more quiet than the other camping areas and lots of room:-) Check in at the trailer across the main road from the general store at the entrance to camping and they can get you all dialed in!

Last year at Cave B Inn we saw RVs and cars camping in the trees along the entrance road from Silica into the Resort...seemed pretty isolated

I was 8 months pregnant at the gorge in 2011. We had a parking pass for the concert (cause I could be the DD). We told them I was pregnant and they saw how pregnant I really was they parked us right up front in the parking lot! It was awesome not having to walk very far to the venue!

As far as services? I'm not sure! Sorry...but having a parking pass is helpful!

Oh and frozen capri suns were my drink of choice for the weekend...slushy goodness

Making the trek from TX for the first time. Staying in The Terraces. Still trying to decide about the food thing. How good is the food at The Pivot? Could you really make do with bring minimal food purchases in Seattle and eat everything from there? That would leave more room for beer in the car.

Most comments have been "Yes the food at pivot is good enough for the weekend. Just bring snacks."

food in the pivot can be really good depending on who you get it from and the time of the day- however, be prepared to spend a minimum of 8 dollars a meal up there. its not too horrible, but we always bring enough meals to cover the weekend with us, and still end up eating at the pivot because 1. the food is good and 2. we're drunk and hunnnnnnngry

Okay, I'm sorry for another poster question... but I just read on FB that they do a Gorge weekend poster and then a poster for each individual day. Is that right? If so, are they for sale simultaneously or do they do like the gumball posters and wait til one sells out?

They did a weekend poster for the two Caravans. Not sure about the other years but they didn't do one the only non-caravan year I went ('09).

The weekend poster was on sale at the same time as the show poster.

Do they have overnight parking options outside of the campgrounds? We have 3 cars coming... but just 1 premier pass and don't really need the other 2 cars since there are only 4 people.

There is a park and ride in George, but it will be first come, first serve and a total of 36 spots. Do not leave you vehicles in the venue parking lot as they will be towed.

Hey does anyone know how the seats in sections 101 and 103 are? The ones I see on Live Nation that are still available all say "Obstructed View". Are all seats in these sections obstructed view? What does that even mean or how bad is the actual view?

The seats toward the center in 103 are actually quite good. The further out toward the edge you get, the more obstructed the view. You won't be able to see Boyd or carter from that angle. 101 is a little worse in the same sense.

If you can get from the middle toward the aisle with 102, you should be alright.

Just found out last minute today that I could go to Saturday only and jumped on two great reserves tickets before finding out that camping tickets are no longer for sale. Does that mean they're sold out? Or can I buy a camping pass on arrival Saturday? I see a few camping passes for sale on the local craigslist so if it is sold out then all hope may not be lost quite yet.

What size area do you get in Premier Camping? We will probably have probably 2-3 tents plus one car/SUV. Also, how easy/hard is it to get a premier pass thru WH, Citi Presale, LN?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

It will be easy to get a pass through the presale. If you arrive on Thursday you will get as much room as you need. Last year we had two SUVs, two ezups, and like 6 tents with tons of space....

One camping pass gives access to one vehicle (car/RV/whatever). Technically, the limit is 2 tents per vehicle but it isn't enforced at all. You'll be camping in a giant grass field so there aren't pre-designated "campsites". As soon as the campground employees guide you where to park, start spreading your stuff out as quickly as possible. I'll toss out my tents, chairs etc to kind of mark a perimeter and it has always worked well. As long as you're on your game, getting a pass is pretty easy. I always recommend that as many people as possible in your vehicle/group request them through the WH. Extra ones are insanely easy to sell.

Re: The Gorge Q&A and FAQs

First time doing camping this year. Still not sure whether I'll be renting an RV or camp gear. What would you guys recommend doing, tents or RV? 3 maybe 4 people in total are going, that's including me. Also, can anyone give me a summary of the different campgrounds (like prices, location, and benefits)?
