I originally bought a Luxe, but after a year or two the handle started coming apart and the nozzle wouldn't retract. So I bought a Brondell and have been happier with it so far.
The water is definitely a little colder in the winter. It only gets down to like 40 here, but water can only get so cold before it freezes anyway. It's definitely not uncomfortable at all to use. Personally, I don't think having a heated one is worth it. But maybe living somewhere colder would make a difference? Also, I don't know if the full seats don't require you to connect to a hot water line, but the bidet attachments do if you want a heated setting. So unless you have a hot water line in your bathroom or are willing to run a line through a wall or something...it doesn't seem worth the trouble.
Honestly, these things take like 10 min to install and aren't expensive. I have no idea how every toilet in this country doesn't have a bidet.
