Yes 5A. It has its own entrance and exit off Bay Parkway. The buses also drive right by after the show if you get out early enough.

On the other hand, I’ve never been to Jones Beach though and want to experience it.

What’s the latest I can get there and still easily park in field 5? I plan to get there early-ish (1:30), but I’ve heard stories where late morning is the cut-off.
It will get approach capacity (but there is always a few spots left if you look hard enough) about an hour before show time, at least in my experience. You should be fine anytime before than. A lot of people come after work since it is a weekday show, so you will not be alone if you get there that late. If you get there at 1:30, it will more likely than not be almost empty (except for beachgoers)...and me. But obviously good weather can change things.

Definitely looked like we had good seats. Makes up for Hartford. I might have to keep that the band might have to walk by us to myself and let the Mrs be surprised.

IF we decide to tailgate and get that DMB vibe, we will hit up Field 5. If we roll in later than normal for a show, we will hit 4. Definitely don't need that quick out like I would at other shows since we are staying over and not going back to Ct.

That Café Baci was highly recommended for restaurants I looked at yesterday. If we are in the mood for Italian (my last name ends in O !!!), we will definitely hit it up. Thanks.
I am orchestra D and have the last two seats in the row before the water, so the path the band would have to take is literally right next to me. I have to make a decision if I want to forego tailgating to get in there a little earlier than I usually do to try and catch a glimpse. I know last year I went in at my normal time (7:45ish), and the only person I saw walk in (I was further away), was Carter (with sticks in hand lol).

Also, if you grew up on Long Island/Queens, then I'm sure you've heard of it, but if you are in the mood for fastfood/burgers, All American Burger in Massapequa is highly regarded by us Long Islanders (I only mention it because it's kind of on the way to the venue).

I grew up in Queens on Nassau border within walking distance of Green Acres Mall but moved to Connecticut in 1992 after HS. I went to high school at Kellenberg in Uniondale across from the Coliseum so it's been a long time.

I think we will likely go in a little early just to check out the place and will see if we can catch a glimpse. We are seats 12-13 so I am guessing that is mid row. Thanks

The Jones pit is tiny. The last two times at Jones I got in line at about 1:30/2:00 and I was on the rail. It is one of the smallest pits I've seen.

The line is usually right in front. You will see the Warehouse tent. If you're facing the venue, it is to the right near the beach.

They will let you in early if you have Warehouse pit.

It rains there almost every year...ive watched a lightning storm behind the stage a few times I'm not going to plan on them not going on just because summer weather is in the forecast...especially when its happened before

Also, if youre into beer ive got plenty of quality hops to bring along (Alchemist, OH, Tree House, Trillium etc)

I've seen a lot of people asking about rescheduling. It is highly unlikely this thing gets cancelled or rescheduled. These types of storms happen every year at Jones Beach and they always play, and they are absolutely nothing compared to what happened in Bristow earlier this year (I was there and they still played). It is a rain or shine event.

Hoping I’m wrong, but I have a bad feeling about tomorrow night. Between the forecast and more importantly fourth show in five days I think we might get a “mailed in” set.

If you count Thursday it’s actually just their 4th show in 6 days

Anyone who knows of any tapers present tonight?

Scott Brown's tape from 2016, despite the heavy downpour that year as well, were one of the best sounding tapes from that tour.

So just wanted to say if you’re in the pit and lower seats closest to the stage those areas will more than likely be flooded with the rain expected later this afternoon/evening. Be prepared to literally stand in water for the show if you are that close.
Also everyone knows it almost always rains for Dave at JB. That being said the venue obviously doesn’t cancel anything due to rain. I do know lightening can and will at least temporarily cancel the show. I’ve been there with lightening and been ushered out of the stadium and waited for the storm to pass and the show to go on.

Let’s all cross our fingers and toes and hope the nasty weather passes quickly in the afternoon and we get a good show.
Side note: rain usually brings on some good rares from the guys so there’s always that to look forward to.

    See you all tonight!!!!

Weather is scaring me off. I don’t feel like standing in the rain tonight. I have a Warehouse Premium pair.

    Orchestra B ... Row J ... Seats 9-10

Selling just the tickets (not the rest of premium package) at $115 per ticker (ticket face value). Must meet in Midtown Manhattan unfortunately.
