That's exactly my point. I don't like being like this! The great years and shows of this band I've seen, that most of us vets have seen, I've worn out the cassettes, then I wore out the CD's and then I piled my hard drive full of the stuff that I wore out and the quality was back. I love DMB! I will always love the greatness I witnessed from this band, and it wasn't that long ago! I saw a WPB two night stand back in '13 that blew the roof off. Carlos Malta jammed out on LIOG and it was legendary. Look it up with Copperpot on YouTube.
I don't want to be sitting here describing a car crash every night but goddamn it I'm going to call 'em like I see 'em. There are a great deal of us on this site like me that go back to Nancies.org and some older than me even before that and newer fans that have only known AM.org that know what time it is.
Joe Perry said it about the fucked-up years of Aerosmith;
"I mean, you can only put your faith in a band so many times before you say "I'm not going to bother. I feel we let the fans down in the late 70's and early 80's. We did a lot of shows where we just sucked."
Some bands get it and some apparently like DMB just don't. Denial is a huge wall to climb over. I'm just venting frustration that the band has been so fucked up for so long that a lot of newer fans can't tell the difference between good DMB and bad DMB or are just seated in the "Fuck it, I just want to get wasted" section at a concert.
