DMB played at the NCRC(National Car Rental Center as it was then known) in Ft Lauderdale once in 2001. The power actually went out during one song. This was when they were still only playing 1 night in West Palm.

To expand on this it is highly unlikely that DMB ever plays in Miami unless for some reason they choose to play there on a Winter Tour. There is simply no reason to as many have stated, Cruzan or Coral Sky Amphitheater as I will always call it is just a great amphitheater, good location, and has become a destination venue that could easily sell out 3 nights. In addition if DMB wanted to play there on a Spring Tour they could do that as well since it is suitable to play outdoors in FL during the months of April and May. Im really not sure why Will is so interested in having DMB play in Miami, no disrespect meant just seems like an odd thing to continue pushing. DMB has had great success in West Palm, why change it.

In addition Coral Sky (Cruzan) has probably the best parking situation of any venue I have seen DMB at all over the country. The fact that there are several exits on all sides of the fairgrounds onto major roads makes exiting there usually a breeze. Compare the entrance/exit situation there to Bristow VA which is probably the worst of every place I have been. Also the seats in Bristow are extremely small so they can cram more people in there to the point that even standing you are packed in like sardines. I still go though whenever the play there.

Also it is likely that DMB never went back to Ft Laud for the same reason they won't play in Miami on a Spring or Summer Tour....West Palm is too close to both Ft Lauderdale and Miami therefore no reason for them to play there as well. The only real question about South Fla shows is why hasn't DMB added a 3rd night to the West Palm Beach stand. It makes total sense especially since it has become a destination venue and both the band and fans love going there.

My guess is West Palm will be in July/August like it has been almost everytime in the last 10 years except 2000 when they played in early September.

Not necessarily. This could imply that they have plans to return to South America or Australia as well. My guess is they play South America in 2012 since there were rumors of them doing so in 2011 that didn't wind up happening. I think Europe is more likely in 2013 since they likely won't go over there just to play a few shows.

I think DMB focuses most of its attention on the US in 2012 since there were such few shows last year and most of the country missed out on shows in there region. Spring, Summer, Winter Tours....fews shows in South America around October, a half dozen or so D&T shows throughout the year, Farm Aid, perhaps Bridge School...pretty much business as usual for DMB in 2012.

Was at that show, 2nd row floor (thank you Warehouse), I remember the sky was pretty clear going into the show, and on the way out the parking lot was about a foot underwater due to the storm during the show.

I'm hoping for SPAC the weekend of June 30th. I'm getting married in the park on that date and a show Friday the 29th would make it an even sweeter weekend.
It also falls right into the time range when they play Spac historically.

My father was talking to the mayor of AC today and they are planning on having a handful of two-day concerts at Bader Field next summer with one of them hopefully to be Dave Matthews Band.

if they play there the weekend you're getting married, you're not seeing DMB.

SPAC has been 20-21, 12-13 and 4-5. Going off that I feel the 8-9 makes the most sense. But who really knows.

Hate to burst your bubble but summer tour usually starts the last couple days of May... the 19th would be a kind of in between time
If it makes you feel better they have never played on my birthday but one of my friends gets a show on his birthday pretty much every year... not fair

I spent the night of my 21st birthday (4.25.2009) in Nashville, front and center of the stage, rocking out with DMB. Without question the greatest birthday of my life.

If they follow the pattern they have been, there should be an Omaha stop. Omaha just built a 24,000 seat baseball stadium downtown, and we all know how Dave loves baseball stadiums. I would kill to see a DMB show outside in downtown Omaha, but that's just because I am from Omaha and still love the city. If they did a show in Omaha and if history is an indicator, it would probably be in late August or early September. Pleassssssssssssssssse let it happen...PLEASE!!!
