Ok so I am trying to understand the awesomeness that is Drunken Soldier. So maybe I am just way off here, but does anyone think it's called Drunken Soldier because the melody Dave sings kinda sounds like a drinking song?! I don't mean that as an insult to the melody, I love it. I thinks it's freaking amazing!

Does anyone hear a little bit of "Work It Out," Dave's collaboration with Jurassic 5 during Snow Outside when Dave sings "yeah" after Timmy's mini solo? He sings a similar melody at the 2:04 mark of Work It Out.

Interesting. I'm only to Mercy currently. I loved Belly Belly Nice but for some reason it sounded flat, like there was too much treble

The feeling I had when I was done listening to the album was that I was bummed it was over, it was great and I wanted it to keep going and never end (but we have lives to live I guess lol)... at least I get to listen to it again and again :-)

I agree. When that outro started I couldn't stop smiling, and when it kept building I felt nothing but chills! Snow Outside should be amazing live.

awesome song, but i was waiting for his voice to explode in it, very satisfied with the album

Glen Ballard is a fantastic producer, and Batson has done great with other bands and gets a bad rap on here.

Eh, I like Everyday a lot. Great pop album. Would have been 100 x better if it was a Dave solo album. If U2 or Coldplay put that record out, it'd be hailed as a classic. It might even get in that there Rolling Stone!

people really should listen to Matt's interview with Mark, bc it really shows what a great music mind he has and a true talent as well...they just missed the boat totally
