You haven’t been on Twitter then. A lot of people were disappointed. But yeah, every rational fan loved the move.

The Rays got permission from MLB to explore being a two-city team. Tampa and Montreal.

Just read that. Dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard. Just move them to Montreal. Montreal at least wants baseball.

They can't afford to build a dome stadium in Montreal so they would play their early spring home games in Tampa because of weather

The Mets new pitching coach is 82 years old . There's nothing better in NY than when the Mets are a trainwreck and the Yankees are great...it's just the best.

Mets shouldn't be this bad. They lead the majors with 16 blown saves. If they had half of those back, they'd be right there a half game out of first. But whatever. Fuck the Mets. Nothing is going to change until the Wilpon's die. No way they sell the team. Selig had a huge hard on for that god awful family, and so does Manfred.

Edit: At least there's Pete Alonso. But he'll waste his talent here.

This is true...but their GMs have been just as bad. Loading up a team with 3 and 4 year contracts to guys in their mid 30's (Frazier, Lowrie, Ramos, Cano, Familia, Bruce, Swawzak, Vargas) and loading up a bullpen with a bunch of absolute nobodies is a formula for failure, yet the Mets seem to do it every single year.

The right thing to do is to give him a big ovation. He contributed so much to the team during his time there.

Oh the place will go nuts for him. It will be nothing but a positive lovefest. That might not have been the case had his return been in the first couple years after he left, but time heals all wounds. It probably also helps that he/the Angels haven't been very good since he's been gone.

Or a bad GM. Phillies went through that, and the Flyers have several times. It's absolutely frustrating when the ingredients are there and the mismanaging begins from the top.

Amora was awful - I would argue the Flyers don't have the talent though

Nobody in the Central seems to want to take control of that division. As a Cards fan we have been playing poorly enough that I expected to be at least 6 games back in the standings - but everyone else is slumping and false starting too.

Yeah, I have no idea how the Cubs have a 1.5 game lead in the division. They have been playing poorly for at least a month. Watch out for the Reds.

Red Sox are 7 games back, yet if the season ended today, they'd be playing in a game to determine the Wild Card winner.
