Love my Pixel (original) but it's 2 years old now, and just this year I brought my phone over to my company's plan so they're paying my bill and everything. Not sure how easy it'll be for me to get a new Pixel now

I have the 2xl and its on my work plan, and have since gotten the office over to an all pixel fleet. No complaints. If I had to pay again I would do Fi.

Geez. Me and like one other guy, maybe 2, are the lone Android holdouts. Everyone else is an iPhone.

Its a sheep and the flock situation (or whatever the saying is), people just don't know what they are missing. My gf was the first convert when she got my old pixel 1, where her phone was left on a plane. Now she loves it.

Same thing happened to the office here. (we're like 15 ppl, though, not an entire corp. haha)

Yeah I got my wife a Galaxy S5, I think, a year or so after we started dating when her crappy old iPhone was done. Now she's on an S8.

We're not a huge corp here either, but a lot of it I think is just IT telling people 'here's the latest iPhone you're allowed to have' and everyone just going with it, and a little bit of Apple fanboyness

My girlfriend ripped me for switching to a 2XL from iPhone. Then two months later when she saw how awesome it was for pictures, bought a 2. Then she bought a 3 on preorder.

I use Fi all the time internationally. No need for a local sim, yes please. Only bummer is no one call you so Uber can be hit or miss (looking at you Kenya).

Love everything about mine (3xl) other than the fingerprint reader on the back. Been a lot of issues with the launch via bugs and some hardware quirks but I got hit by none of those.

I really like the google branded cases for them as well. Really pleasant tactile material and didn't add a lot of bulk to the phone and has protected it well in the half dozen times I've dropped it already. =p It's stayed much cleaner than I expected too.

Charger stands are great both at home and office and I've got qi chargers in my vehicles as well so no more cables at all. The ones in the cars are slow but kept up with a recent trip to vegas with podcasts and full time GPS via maps.

It's a little bizarre how much I utilize google assistant now that I've used android for a while. I'm seriously considering moving to smart home junk because it works so well. Also think I'm going to activate my old pixel on project fi for a month or two and see how it works. If the coverage is fine, will likely just sell my soul to google and get it over with.

Update from my last post, I did get a Pixel 3 through work, and loving it. Everyone else with a work phone is on an iPhone except for maybe a couple older Galaxy models.

My Pixel 2xl has a cracked screen. The ubreakifix place near me wants $200 to fix it. I’m torn between just fixing my 2xl or getting a new 3a. I would love the headphone jack and better battery life but I’m digging not having a monthly payment right now.

Did you buy it in the first batch? Chat the carrier, say it has USB-C port issues which they all do. They will replace it no questions asked.

for the price, definitely. You get the two biggest selling points of the regular Pixel (best camera on the market and pure Android) for a really good price, and the concessions they made to get to that price really aren't that bad

I've been trying to hang on to my old Nexus 6 until the newer version Pixel came out, but I might just pull the trigger on this one.
It reminds me of my old Moto X (which I loved) and having my Sprint carrier selling this one helps too
