Booked our flights and Seattle hotels last night. Sad that Red Roof is somehow ridiculous expensive, it's become a tradition, but whatever, it's just a hotel, right? Flying on points out of Boofaloo was the cheapest option with actual civilized flight times, too!

Looked at Red roof a few weeks back and nearly fell over at the price, better PM me your dates and where you’re stayin and I’ll stay in the same. Just that I’ll aim to get there a day earlier and sleep 💤

We're booked at Quality Inn SeaTac Airport -- they had a "pay now" rate directly on their website that wasn't absurd, so we're locked in. We can totally coordinate picking you up wherever if you don't want to stay there, just let us know!

We're staying overnight Wednesday August 29 and Monday September 3.

SEVENTEEN HOURS! I don't know how you do it. The 3 hour time change kills me! You're a trooper!

We're putting in a grocery order with Safeway online, you place the order, they deliver. I am SO looking forward to NOT wandering the aisles of a grocery store like a zombie on Wednesday afternoon after 12 hours of planes and airports this year. We'll still have to pick up certain adult beverages and other things, and a few camp supplies, but the big food shop will be done for us! NO MELTDOWNS IN COSTCO THIS YEAR!!!

Yeah, we'll get it delivered to the hotel. Or pick it up. Lots of time to decide.

And yes, every year there has been a certain person (not telling who ) melting down in one grocery store or another. It's an exhausting day. Looking forward to streamlining it this year.

yes, most of us made the ATX show. that was a long 24 hours for me...but that pit was GREAT and man the boys are on fire.

We have, but only by "joining" others that were there long before we got in. Good terrace spots fill up pretty quick after gates open.

You still planning on meeting up on Wednesday or Thursday to get Jeffe's chair? I work just 4 miles from the Airport and Quality Inn.

When I did Gorge in 2014, we had spots on the terrace pat of the lawn the first two nights. N1 we went in right as gates were opening for WH tix, and N2 w lined up 15 or 30 min or so before gates, again with WH tix.

As Russ said, these spots fill up fast, but they're great. I would guess pretty much all the terrace spots are taken by people with WH tix / early entry.

go in around gates, lay your blanket out, and enjoy! people always flock to the center, but if you go off to the sides you can get really great spots
