Man it’s soo tempting for me to go to this show. Will be in Denver for the Phish run, love JRAD (probably second favorite band behind Phish right now) and Red Rocks on my bucket list, but my fiancé just isn’t interested at all in going. Not pressing the issue cause by the time the years over we will have probably made it to a dozen Phish shows this year. But still.....

As bad as that is, the balcony and mezzanine still look like awesome views, so I dont really care where I sit.

The Hampton Coliseum is small and feels tiny. They’re won’t be a bad seat in the house there. Every time I’ve been there it’s been GA and I think all 4 times I’ve been there I’ve been on the floor. But I would guess there is essentially no discernible difference in sight line or sound from the Loge to the corresponding sections of the mezzanine. Def not worth 2x the cost.

Also, $195 is ridiculous, but to each their own.

Got a presale approval. Thinking about this ticket situation actually has me pretty concerned. Under 10k seats and the insane demand this will bring truly has me worried that if we don’t score tomorrow or Friday, the only option to attend will be to pay out the nose on stubhub. Can’t say I’ve ever had this concern going away for any show ever before. I guess we’ll see.

You only got 1 code? It gave you the option to add a second show when you registered, I got codes for both nights.

Took an hour later but got into N2 and got some floors. $197 a pop after fees. More than I wanted to pay but weve got a crew going and they all scored some, so why not?

I put both in and got waitlisted. Wife got a code for NY too even though she didn't request it.

so now I have a pair for NY N2 and floors for Hampton N2. Sad thing is I may have to dump all of them b/c of my kids' soccer schedules.

You can't sit behind the band at Hampton? If true that's so weak. And those ticket prices. Holy shit what a cash grab. That's kind of pathetic.

I actually completely agree. I find the cost troubling. If this were Phish and Trey only had maybe a couple years of touring in him would I pay for it, almost certainly but then again I am very fortunate in that I have the means to do that. Many people can’t and ticket prices like that price out significant portions of your fan base. It’s off-putting for sure.

Not to mention Dead and Co isn’t even really good but that’s beating a dead horse (tehehe) at this point. Sorry I just couldn’t help myself.

My problem with the pricing for this is the GA floor being the same as a pit ticket. Its not guaranteed the same experience due to the size.

Ive only gotten pav's once for D&Co so far, I think they were like $140 after fees. For someone like me, its worth it being able to see bob, mickey and bill seeing as ive never had the chance to see the dead.

You can get into the lawn at summer shows for like $50-60.

To your point though, $150 for an awesome seat is fine. $200 for a full GA floor is kind of ridiculous.

You make an excellent point TLP about small pit vs large arena floor. And the floor at Hampton is huge, i’d guess maybe 1/3 of the total capacity when the behind the stage seats are blocked off. (completely guess)

yeah, the fees are so ridiculous anymore though, even a $150 face is like $174 after fees, but about a $25 knock off is what it should be for pit vs ga floor when theyre that expensive. But with that said I dont have a problem with phish staying at $100 for pit and floors in the fall.

For me, all D&Co tix outside of lawn are about 15% too high, but people pay it so I cant say theyre wrong.

Really dont like this kind of crap, clearly held these dates back to sell more MSG tix at inflated prices.

Well, that region is so underpopulated that it makes for a tough draw for the bands.
