Although the WH is about as fucked up a company as there is so I would not be surprised to have my $85 seats be anywhere in the venue.

So for what it's worth, if you go on live nation and look at the price range for the show Loge is listed as $75 AND $85 tickets.

Sounds like the same as last year; $85 are the 'good' Loge seats and Orchestra.

I would guess that WH is just simplifying it by saying 1-3 are the $85 tickets, but in reality, at least half of the Loge level is also at that price.

If you look at any show onsale at Irvine, you will see that's the case, where many Loge have same price as Orchestra/Pit.

even if they didn't have control over ticket prices (which they do), they absolutely have control over where they choose their fan club seats. it could very well be that the WH chose their $85 level tickets to be in the Orchestra and chose towards the back of the Loge for their next tier.

Yes. I got GA Pit one year, and all other years I have had Loge level. This year is no different. Sec 7 Row LL. I guess missing last years tour punished me!

Member since 2004. I've always been placed off on the side in Loge Section 8. I still didn't get Orchestra this year, but am more toward the center in Loge Section 5, Row MM.

Yup. Irvine has generally been a hot ticket over the years, but this year more than any should be a tough one to get- as far as orch and loge are concerned.

It's a real bummer that we're losing our hometown venue and replacing it with high-end apartments for the city of Irvine. Hopefully they get it together and start working towards building a venue at the Great Park! Hopefully.. .

There is a single ticket on the very outside of Loge 8 row KK now on Ticketmaster if anyone needs a ticket. I know it might not sound that great there but at least you are close to the beers, patio area & restrooms.

wow where the hell have I been on the meadows closing?? granted parking sucks there but so amazing to have 2 night shows between the meadows and chula after being spoilt coming from IN.

Yeah, the end of Irvine is sad for those of us who grew up going to shows there. Not at all unexpected, though, when viewed as a part of a pattern of the city of Irvine doing away with anything that might even indirectly result in somebody having a good time.

Hoping to still get multiple SoCal shows after the break next year. Maybe they'll go back to the Hollywood Bowl. Or start playing the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino (I think it's a LiveNation venue). Maybe even two nights at Chula?

Although, the trend is to ignore the West. If we get unlucky, the Gorge might be the only shows left west of Alpine.

They will play the Forum at a minimum. I wouldn't worry about them skipping So-Cal altogether.

I just prefer outdoor shows to indoor. Just a matter of preference. Although I hear the Forum is pretty nice since the remodel.

the forum has been amazing granted I never made it before the remodel. I second that outdoor for DMB is much better.

The Mrs and I will be there. I am pretty confident we have seen every DMB show when they were at Irvine Meadows. Definitely the end of an era. We went all out for the 25th Anniv and also last Irvine show and went VIP with the WH. Got Pit tickets!!! We've been WH members since Feb '99. Definitely a long time since the old days with the WH booth where members could go and upgrade their tickets once in the venue. Now if after 17 years of being a member we can somehow score a Meet an Greet, I would probably pee my pants.

Hope to see a few of you all there. Listen to the previous poster in regards to parking. The parking guys will direct you towards the spots closer to the gate, but head to the back left corner. That is where the exit will be and a good # of cars as well.

Just looked into renting a car, what the hell is with the cost of renting in CA? Like $68 a day for a shit economy car. Might have to rethink my flying into San Diego and out of Oakland thing now.
