I don’t have any experience but that Grand.
Our rooms were nice, but I can’t compare. I also can’t comment much on the restaurants because we ate mostly room service for breakfast, lunch at the pool, and dinner at the concerts.

We didn’t bother going to the other resorts for the daytime activities, except for the 5k. If that’s your thing, I would stay at Nizuc. We met fellow fans each place we went, but it was never the majority of the people there. Pools were quieter, always could get a lounge chair, etc. Absolutely loved the Library (the bar under the stairs) at the Grand. We stopped there each night post show.

But while we still met other fans, we didn’t get to catch up with actual people I wanted to meet (like Route) because we were never there for all the planned activities. If you think that’s what you’ll want to do, I would stay at Nizuc or Sunrise.

Also, I don’t know if the other resorts had one, but there was a margarita cart guy at the Grand and he made the best margaritas. After the first day, (and we ordered a second one within seconds of trying the one he just made), we hunted him down the next day to get more. They were so good.

Not announced yet but this past year was:

    1pm & 2:15pm Pool Party shows
    6pm doors
    7pm opener
    8:30 D&T

I would think it’s pretty consistent year to year

Does anyone know how the Phish sale went? Did the purchase still run through the Tixr site or whatever it was called?

Thanks for the details! The main concern I have with nizuc is being able to lounge at the pool. I’m a big lounger, it’s my best trait but I don’t wanna get up early to reserve a spot. I do like the idea of easy access to all the fun stuff though

There were always available lounge chairs whenever we’d get to a pool. And some D&T fans gave us their cabana (they were leaving) at the adult pool one day.

It was an easy golf cart ride to Nizuc, so we could have still gone to all the planned events, but it was just too nice being chill and low key.
The pools always had people and we met plenty of fans wherever we went, but it wasn’t overly packed / busy / etc.

Someone just commented on a question I asked on the Warehouse boards about the different resorts that all of the pool parties and events, other than the concerts, are at nizuc, not sunrise. I thought all of the gatherings and parties would be at sunrise and the sunrise pools.

Can anyone confirm what that person said or is he mistaken?

Hey that was me lol for hootiefest it was sunrise. Last year for dave and tim it was nizuc. Unless they announced already which it is this year for this event, I guess it could be either one. I was just basing it off last year.

Thanks man. It just seemed different from what I had otherwise read. Didn’t mean to doubt you. I appreciate the advise. Just want to make sure I’m selling a kidney for the right venue.

    Thanks again

Dude no worries at all! I definitely understand you want to know what you're getting into when you are spending that much money! I would want to also. I kind of scanned the website today and did not see an exact location for pool parties this year apparently it has changed around over the years but I don't know. The only thing they have for sure is the venue is still at the Sunrise area.

Here's what I remember from this year:

    Pool parties Nizuc pool
    3k start Nizuc area
Craft beer tastings Venue Courtyard (Sunrise)
    Merch tent Sunrise

    Everything else we didn't participate and/or I can't remember

The short answer is yes but there's a lottery for what order you get in. Who knows if live nation will stay with what CID did though

Anyone else find it unprofessional that there's been no statement from CID or LN regarding who's organizing this thing? Returning people shelling out this kind of money should have some kind of reassurance in the hospitality. New people too for that matter.

This is a joke, right? lol You buy tickets year after year by clowns that screw you and now all the sudden you want to know this info? haha

Read the reviews, there are hardly any negative reviews (including mine) and you want to know whose throwing the party? lol Go to Chuck E. Cheese

besides the concerts themselves, what other benefits are there to that booking through CID / Livenation? I saw something about a bike ride, but is that it? are there other excursions / activities that are included?

You've always been an idiot TROLL. I've been the last 3 years. CID has always provided excellent customer service. LN not so much. Go back to your bridge

Lots of on site activities (yoga, tastings, jam sessions, etc etc etc long list) that are free that you just show up to. There will also be many off sites adventures that cost extra that they'll announce at a later date but have been pretty consistent thru the years (golfing, ancient Mayan ruins, four wheeler excursions, etc etc etc)

And all of those (yoga, four wheeler excursions) are exclusive to CID / LN?

On site, technically no because anybody can just happen upon a yoga session (for example) and just join in. But if you're not there for D&T you wouldn't necessarily know about it ahead of time. I'll guess it's quite rare a non-D&T guest participates in a CID/LN on-site event

Off site adventures, on the other hand, are available to the general public. The only difference is CID/LN provides transportation

Last year we just booked a separate Moon Palace room, and were renting bikes when the CID bike tour was starting, they told us to just come along with them for free
