It’s not just that, the past month or so has been full of complaining about the cold, complaining about having to make thanksgiving dinner before the tour, pretty sure he posted something about the tour with an eye roll emoji a couple weeks ago.

To add: video was uploaded July 2010--two years before AFTW's release. Just goes to show how Dave's mind to really key into melodies and stick with them.

Why would he have to make Thanksgiving dinner? Tour ends before thanksgiving. Don't think any pro musicians are rolling their eyes about getting to play music to thousands of people making top dollar. Unless you are implying that he's bored and wants out because of an eyeroll emoji.

Last nights set showed they just didn't rehearse pre tour. That was a comfy set of songs they've been playing regularly.

Again, this tour was intended to be an album release tour, and since they botched album, I assume the band and Dave are like Oh well, we're just going to do what we do.

Also, did Vancouver have anyone in attendance? Last I checked it was around 50% sold.

There's a line in the chorus of most live versions of What You Are that I can never make out.

Listening to Central Park around 2:20, "So we mock the world....????" All I can really make out is "from our sacred, oh". Doesn't make much sense to me :/ Thoughts?

I've been doing some research, and I've found a shockingly high number of bands play songs they've already written and performed before at concerts.

Oh yes. That's why I love DMB because they play the standard/regular predictable sets. Just like all the rest of the bands. Who said they have to play songs they haven't played at all? I'm just saying there's nothing in this set that's unique or makes me excited to see sets from the rest of this tour. It's same old from the last 2 years. Fine.

I hold them to a higher standard.

Last night was the 9th time The Riff has been played since 2014, the first time Drive In Drive Out has been played at a tour opener since Summer '04 and the 15th play since 2016, the 8th performance of Stolen Away since 2014, and the first full band Come Tomorrow since 2020

Ya, They played the riff several of those times on the west coast this summer. Song is overrated. Drive in Drive Out played a bunch this summer, makes no difference it's the first show of a fall tour 5 weeks after the summer tour ended,
Stolen Away is unique, but boring.
Come tomorrow sucks and we all know that. It should never take up an E1 spot.

Ok. How about some context though? This “tour” is essentially additional shows to their summer tour that ended not too long ago and all of these songs have been played full band this year (minus CT).

That doesn't matter, I was just saying that it's not really a comfy set of songs that they play regularly, and I mentioned some stats to make that point
