if you actually watch the tiktok she made she isn’t really alleging that it was just her being lowballed that was gentrification, it’s the structural history of that entire area that leads to predatory practices like that. Redlining was essentially outlawed in 1977, yet this district went from 3/4 black in the 70s to 14% in 2019. There‘s obviously more going on there.
