yah that was good…I shopped around some other contestants, just for the sake of competition, and I can say yours was up at the top of the list for me.

    Very good.

Clicked on highest rated. Wow..there are a lot of really good ads there. You've got stiff competition. All of them could easily be real ads on TV and you wouldn't bat an eyelash.

    ^ On the Easter Eggs

Even in the full screen on youtube, they're actually harder to see than on Quicktime player.

But if you want to know:

Click the "Show Spoiler" Button to reveal hidden text.

The full message on the white board was "Do Not Smudge the Walls!", but the full message was never in frame in the final cut.

Can this thread get stickied? I get the idea of not cluttering the boards, but it's going to be a lot more difficult to win these types of contests when they don't have an exclusive thread of their own.

I'd be more then happy to. I will let you know though that simply continuing to bump the thread would be more effective since people's earth much more frequently through new posts rather than sticky threads.

Thanks and fair point, but I am screwed either way when the contest doesn't have a thread of its own. It's easier to vote for the contest when the users can go directly to the OP to vote through the link provided instead of having to sift through several dozen posts to find the correct link. Seeing that this has less than 100 replies, I'd be hard pressed that many people click on a general "Vote for Me" thread. Winning an international contest is difficult enough as it is.

Sorry to be candid about my feelings, but yeah, this isn't doing me any favors and it doesn't seem there are enough contests on a frequent enough basis to warrant this thread or cause forum clutter.

I understand but the rules in these forums is no self promotion threads, so it's kind of this or nothing at all and to add to your point this is the second vote for me thread in 3 days. If you lose this competition by less then 100 votes feel free to say it was because you couldn't have a thread of your own, but like you said it being an international contest I don't think the results will be an indicator of the votes you received on this message board.

Cool video though, pretty awesome stuff.

Fair enough, Kev, and thank you for the compliments on the ad. Sorry to be inconsistent on my requests, but it seems you were right on the issue of how active this thread would be when it gets stickied. Do you mind undoing it so we can keep the voting active? Thanks!

The Harlequin More than Words is giving $15,000 to the top 3 vote getters (come on - out of 5 - it's so sad we're not in at least 3rd) and I would really appreciate it if you could take a few seconds and vote for Megan Yunn.
There's no signing up for anything, no registration: just follow the link and click "Vote for Megan" under her picture.

    www.beverlysbirthdays.org/VOTE

I'm a member of the Cake & Ice Cream Donor Club, so this charity is important to me. Here's their background story:

    Our Story

In March of 2011, Beverly's Birthdays founder, Megan Yunn "Megs", was volunteering at a local afterschool program and was helping a young girl named Beverly complete her homework. Beverly was asked to use the word "accustomed to" in a sentence. Trying to provide her with an example of how to use the word, Megs said "Beverly, at a birthday party people are accustomed to eating what?" Beverly responded, "I have never had a birthday party or a birthday cake."

At 12 years old Beverly had never had a birthday party of her own. Inspired by Beverly's story, Megs decided to start her own organization that provides birthday celebrations for homeless youth in the Pittsburgh Region. In June of 2011, Megs submitted her idea to the "BE BIG in Your Community Contest," a signature component of the ongoing Clifford The Big Red Dog® BE BIG!™ campaign sponsored by American Family Insurance and was selected as a first place winner out of over 1,000 entries in the nation. Beverly’s Birthdays received a starter grant to help make Megs dream a reality.

$15,000 would help a lot of children celebrate their birthdays. Please consider taking a few seconds to vote.

    Thanks!
They finally announced the winner - and Beverly's Birthdays won the contest!!!

To all that voted - thank you!!!

Re: *The Official: Vote For Me Thread*

So, here I am again. It doesn't take long to realize I have a thing for helping children and animals. This time, I'm participating in the 2014 Pittsburgh Superhero Run. The Pittsburgh Superhero Foundation 5K Run/Walk and 1K Family Run is a family event to raise funds and awareness to help prevent child abuse and aid abuse victims. Money raised goes to the Superhero Foundation and aids CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) who volunteer and advocate in the best interests of abused children.

When I signed us up, the initial goal was $250, but I doubled it as I'd like to raise $500. It seemed easy enough, but we're stuck at not even $200.
I know this isn't as easy like my last plea for help, but if any of you would be so kind to throw in your spare change, dollar or two, I would be forever appreciative!!

Here's the link to go to my fundraising page:
    https://www.active.com/donate/superh...2014/theklinks

Every child needs a hero, but abused children need superheroes.

    Tune Speak Help!

As a fellow Ant, im asking for some help...

Some of you may have heard Tune Speak is giving away PIT Tickets to DMB Shows. I specifically am in the running for the Chicago show and as of now im in 3rd place. Im asking for your help! I already have tickets but not for the PIT... All you have to do is open the link, click listen to DMB, and start with Broken Things. It will play 30 second clips of each song until the end of the Stand Up album then you will have to start it up again with Busted Stuff. Each clip played will earn me points. Thanks everyone!!! See you all soon, hopefully in the PIT!
