I'm in town for a conference at the Westin Cleveland Downtown so I grabbed a pit ticket to be at the show. Curious if I really need to have a rental car or if ubers/taxis are easy to find after the show. Anyone familiar with this?

Unless you plan on leaving the pit before the show is over, i wouldnt Uber. Blossom is one of the absolute worst parking/traffic situations anywhere. A lot of ride share drivers go out of their way to avoid Blossom because it isn't worth their time.

yeah I think people underestimate the logistical impact of decisions like the vaccine-or-negative-test mandate a little. If everyone in line to get into the venue is sober and prepared, not a huge deal. But, we know how that really goes…

Like I said earlier. They need to start doing this when lots open. I’ll take a beer and go get a wrist band at 3pm so I can go through an express lane. You can’t just start checking this shit 45 minutes before the first note is played.

Great venue - next to the gorge, probably my favorite to visit.

Looks like I'm going to have a pair of 2nd row center for blossom for trade for a similar pair to riverbend. PM if you have any good pair of riverbend lowers (not interested in pit).

This happened to me going to Foo Fighters a few years ago. They parked me all the way by the front road and I had a huge trek in but leaving was a piece of cake.

While this reaction is a bit much, I'd be fairly enraged if I drove 2 hours to a venue that wasn't my own (which I'll be doing for DMB), where they've had my $130 (well, $271 for two tickets) for 2 years now, and I missed the bulk of the fucking show.

Went to dead and co at Blossom last night. We got in without any issues, everything seemed to be working as you would expect it to. We pulled in to the venue about 5:30, parked all the way out by steels corners. Was a covid checkpoint, followed by security, and then a ticket scanner line.

Ticketmaster just had a nice sized drop in sections 22, 25 & 26. Got a single in 26 row A

I'm a casual Dead fan, but I thought it was a solid show. I loved that Althea was played. They came out of Drums/Space a little slower than I would have liked, but overall, excellent set. Poster was killer, but I hate D&C's outside merch setup...posters sold out super early, and none were saved for the inside merch stands.What did you think?

This. This is the only time I pay for VIP parking and I *still* sit for an hour unless I leave during encore…

….which this tour is sort of like picking right back up at the next show.

Has anyone ever done the Riverbend/Blossom run on back to back nights? Think there would be repeats?

There have been different variations of back to back shows between detroit, cincy, columbus, blossom at pittsburgh over the years. Sometimes very few repeats, sometimes 1/3 to 1/2 the set. You never know.
