Just got Raiders/Broncos tickets through work for October 17th. Have only been to Mile High for a Rolling Stones show. So that's pretty cool and fun.

I was between the Raiders on October 17th and Chargers on November 28th. I went with the warmer weather game.

My buddy and I were talking and we both want to do a game in Vegas and a game in LA at the new stadiums. Teams are irrelevant tbh. Just want that state of the art experience.

A nice steak dinner at a local mom and pop steakhouse for my mother-in-law's birthday. Food was phenomenal. Atmosphere was lovely too. Just a good weekend all around, honestly.

Oh yeah nice and easy. I used to do it similarly but also give it a good dusting of parmesan cheese.

Went to the car wash the other day. Cashier kid said…hey do you remember me? I said..Chris?
Turns out it’s my sons best friend. Drying my car off, he comes out and tells me to have my son shoot him my car info and he’ll put me in the employee free wash system. Got confirmation today.

I found out this morning I was approved for Indy 500 tickets for next year. My wife has wanted to go to that race literally her entire life and never has. It’s going to be a surprise Christmas present for her. Keeping this secret will be tough for the next few months.

Payday for starters. Also, our IT guy is on vacation this week, so we get a reprieve from his insistence of "Yacht Rock Fridays" - We are instead doing "Feel Good Friday" today with more rap/hip-hop vibes. We're having a good time.

Was involved in my first serious car crash tonight. I sprained my ankle, scraped my knee and hit my head pretty hard. What I’m happy about is the response I received. Everyone from the strangers who helped me out of my car to my wife who got to the hospital so fast, she beat the ambulance and of course, the first responders. No fractures, no internal bleeding according to the CT scan. I’m just incredibly lucky that my car did its job and I came away with relatively little injury. I’m not much of a religious man, but that Samuel L Jackson speech about divine intervention is the first thing I thought of when I got the results back . Happy to be alive and to be so loved. Life is good.

Was involved in a car wreck two weeks ago and have been waiting to hear about my settlement. 2008 Chevy Trailblazer with 100k+ miles. Obvious total. Was expecting $4k at best considering I bought the car for $8k from a neighbor 5 years ago when it only had 20k miles. Got a call this morning…insurance is giving me over $7k AFTER my deductible. I nearly spit out my coffee. I’m like yes A THOUSAND TIMES YES . Who says cars depreciate .
