    Such a boring show.

Weird Al and the tribute to Robin Williams was the best part.

    66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

RW tribute was awesome. Chilling at the end. Place was perfectly quiet for like 15 seconds

'ing at Modern Family winning Best Comedy, yet again. these things are about as in touch with the pulse as the Grammys are (it's almost by accident that they've bestowed so much love on BB). though I suppose I'd be even more knocked out if Big Bang Theory won.

of course it's equally absurd that Jim Parsons actually won Best Actor (which is multiple times now, right?)

btw I'm just reading all this stuff now off the net, honestly I'm not sure how some of you actually manage to get thru watching the actual entire show, or even just most of it. I can't remember the last time I watched a whole awards show while it was on.

I honestly wonder if they shouldn't just create a new category called Best Dramedy, because there really are getting to be more and more shows that straddle the line. Orange Is The New Black certainly doesn't seem to fit well in either drama or comedy.

    which show shouldve won?

I say Veep shouldve won (Dreyfus won), but Modern Family isnt a bad win

I actually dont think there were any bad wins in any category, even Jim Parsons. (maybe Macy shouldve taken that one)

I love Breaking Bad and I love Cranston (especially his speech), but Matthew McConaughey really deserved that award. I understand why the academy did it, but c'mon. Matthew McConaughey's performance was probably one of the best (if not THE best) dramatic acting I have ever seen on TV.

    lol no.
It's bad enough they fn robbed Cranston in both 2012 and 2013.
He was literally unreal yet again in the final BB season. Best ever.

It was a toss up for me. Both were phenomenal. Don't have a huge problem with either one winning.

I watched every episode of every show in the Best Actor (Drama) category this year. Quite honestly, anyone could've won and it would've been deserved.

But I'm with you. No way you could watch those last 3 episodes of Breaking Bad and go, "Eh, he wasn't THAT good. No way."

I just think McConaughey was better. If he had been nominated for the same role last year, he may have got it.

I don't have a problem with them giving it to Cranston because he was great. I just think McConaughey was unreal.

Conan's full on salute and standing ovation for the CEO of the Emmy's academy is pretty great. It's a wonderful fuck you. Fully in the spirit of Norm.

It's really disappointing to me that Ted Lasso and Barry both got shut out after having stellar final seasons.

Yeah, I was really bummed for Sudeikis and Co. but this last season of The Bear was just so damn good.

It was season 1 that was nominated.

But regardless, even how good Ted Lasso was, The Bear has been phenomenal too.

Huh, that’s strange then especially given The Bear dominating all the acting categories. I didn’t think Ebon was that great in S1.

Also, Brian Cox getting an Emmy nomination over Jeremy Strong is probably the biggest snub I’ve seen in quite awhile. So dumb.
