Man 4 notches? That’s a lot in 3 weeks. I’m going for quality over quantity. Met this really cute chick at work, and partied with her and the bar tonight. She’s really nice and we danced a bunch. Nothing crazy but maybe it could lead to something If she doesn’t have a bf. I heard to the great vine she may have a bf tho. Sucks, but oh well. That’s all I got tho

Simplified my bio recently and have been getting more likes. Haven't had a date since late winter early spring though. That's ok though, I'll be in a better place once I'm back out there again.

I had been "seeing" someone for about a month. After a 4th date, things escalated, awesome sex ensued, and it was Sunday evening before I started politely giving her hints that she should leave. Finally at 7:30 at night I was very direct about it.

    TL;DR

Another batshit crazy female who thought I was going to propose. At no point have we discussed that, but I must have serviced her so well she figured I was a keeper.

The cops were required. I showed them footage of her arriving that night in her own vehicle because she followed me there. She completely lied to them and told him she was living under my roof. The fact that they didn't cite her with something was nothing short of miraculous for her.

I'm getting an order of protection because she keeps riding by my house.

when you come up with these stories, do you care at all about their believability, or is that completely and totally secondary to whatever thrill coming up with them provides?

I really don't give a fuck whether or not you believe me. The only reason I even responded was because I refreshed the page to go read another thread and saw that you had to call me out.

So why don't you do us both a favor and just put me on ignore? Seems to work well for everyone else.

And try not to be a dick. If challenging a stranger's credibility over the Internet is your thing then obviously you really need to focus on your real life.

    Edit:. IGNORANCE is bliss.

You could have peed in her first and told her you were finished at least.

Neither of Chris’s stories seem too far fetched to me, unfortunately.

I’ve definitely had refuses to take hints to leave girl and I also got messed up with a criminal who tried for a quick marriage, used my address and a ton of other things. It seriously sucked.

My current dealio is going good. 1.6 years in, obvs mostly all covid time so it will be interesting to see if we last now that we are open.

    Re: Dating is miserable

While Defcon’s story sounds nuts, if you’ve had a good amount of experience it is not surprising in the least.

A few years ago, I picked up a girl at a local bar by my place. The next morning, she asked to get brunch and I said no. What ensued was a temper tantrum and a refusal to leave my house. Finally said yes, did our thing again, got ready, and as soon as we got out and I locked the door told her she was crazy as hell and now she could finally leave. Worried for a while she would come back/try some crazy shit but fortunately she never did.

After that I’d either ask a girl her address after we were done the night of or right away the next morning and just get them a Lyft or Uber. Never had anyone turn down the ride home. There’s some crazy shit out there.

EDIT: Another good move is suggest a local coffee place (you’ll likely want coffee anyways) and as soon as you get it just be like “well, this was fun I gotta go x, y, z”.

You’re young, correct? Run three apps and swipe right on everything. Figure out your game, smash some slump busters, and move on.

Gotta make plans for a first date this Saturday. She's cute and waaaay too smart for me, but whatevs. She seems into me and down to earth. Hoping our chemistry is as good in person as it is over text. Keep swinging, friends.
