Early rumbles saying Sicario 2 is actually quite good.

Very good to hear, I’m excited about this one

I'll be extremely skeptical, but that's great if it turns out that way.

Tag was pretty funny....I walked out thinking the one thing the filmmakers could have done to improve it was to add Will Ferrell to the cast, and then I saw the imdb notes that he was actually supposed to be in it.

    Reality Bites (1994) - B+

Really really really enjoyed this. Ethan Hawke and Winona Ryder Had tremendous chemistry and i felt like they really captured the texture of the 90s. Obviously there are tons of parallel's between "In Your Face TV" and MTV which I really enjoyed. I think there are a variety of moments throughout the film where I'm not totally sure if the choices they made were supposed to be cheesy and look like bad 90s TV drama editing or if these are just artifacts of the time - either way they somewhat lend themselves to this overall meta tone they have throughout the film.

I think what brings this film down are some of the choices in the writing at critical moments for Winona's character as well as some noticable technical shortcomings with dialogue replacement.

Instant classic for me none the less - this felt like a Linklater film that was taken away from him and given to Ben Stiller.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The most recent movie I watched (earlier tonight) was in fact the same movie from whose still photo I used to begin the "Guess the Movie Photo Game" thread all those many many years ago.

    THE FIRM

Starring Tom Cruise, directed by the great director/actor Sydney Pollack (RIP). I still think it rates as one of the more underrated 90's adult dramatic thrillers. Hell, Wilford Brimley plays a BAD guy!! And this was back still a bit before Gary Busey started to go McNutso Crazypants.

oh and for those of you who still keep up with the Showtime legal/Wall Street drama Billions, maybe this connect will throw you for a loop a little, maybe not. But ya know that really shady guy that Axe keeps as his sort of own personal fixer, known only as Mr Hall? pretty short, mostly balled, thick horned rim glasses. Terry Kinney, he also played the husband of the main couple who helps welcome the Cruise character and his wife into the Memphis area and inside the firm in which they operate. I mean just two completely different people, it's amazing.

    Incredibles 2 - 9/10 (enjoyment factor)
The first Incredibles is my favorite Pixar movie of all time, so I had high expectations. The first one is still better, but I thought they did a commendable job with this second one. It fit right in. I didn't think they really broke too much new ground, so that was maybe the only downfall. Otherwise, it was very entertaining if you liked the first one.

Kubo and the Two Strings - 7.25/10 (enjoyment factor), Netflix
Great animation and cinematography. Pretty decent character development and story line. Fairly predictable and you just have to go along with a lot of stuff, but I liked it overall. Good children's story.

First Incredibles is.........incredible. Saw the preview for the 2nd one at Disney a couple weekends ago, which was the opening scene. Definitely looks like it'll be just as enjoyable as the first.

You need to fix that. Seriously, it's a top 10 favorite movie of mine. The style of it is perfect, right from the opening scenes. It's like a kid's James Bond/super hero fantasy mashup that has some really great dramatic moments too and the music is fantastic.

Incredibles 2 starts exactly where the first one leaves off, so seeing the first one before is definitely needed.
